This is a terrible attorney!! Don't trust him with your immigration case. A lot of his clients end up deported just so he can charge them to appeal. He reimburses so they don't report him to the State Bar of Texas. He is cheap that's why people go to him but remember, cheap ends up expensive. ¡Este es un abogado terrible! After years of marriage my husband and I finally decided to seek immigration attorney, to adjust his status. I should have paid attention to these reviews but I wanted to give this attorney a chance. Our appointment was at 330 PM, and no exaggeration we did not get seen till 10:15 PM ! We had driven from Conroe TX which is an hour to an hour in 20 minute drive, so we decided to stay the duration to see him in hopes that it would have been worth the trip and the wait. He was very rude, very abrupt and would not let us properly speak, always interrupted, he even put his hand up in a shushing motion to me! He asked my husband why he married me as if to indicate that it was just for a Papers when we have been married for years but he wouldn't know that because he wouldn't let anyone speak. This to me is a racist Stereotypical assumption. I do not recommend this law office. Please go somewhere else. read more

I debated for a year on whether or not to make this review. But I feel like people need to know! Well if you check out the other reviews and google maps you should already know where I am going with this. About a year ago I was looking for an intern chance to a law firm which can be extremely hard to do with no experience and no references in the field. This place was posted in a job fair page so since I live close by sent in my resume and sure enough got a call back from the attorney. I did not do my homework at all! It was too good to be true. good pay, no experience necessary, willing to train the right candidate etc. So I go in for an interview. The moment I walked in I knew I was making a mistake. The place was dirty, it smelled like mildew and the attorney doesn't care about his appearance. BUT THATS NOT THE WORSE PART! The entire interview I felt this weird vibe from him. He kept staring at my chest and just giving me this weird look. At first I thought it was all in my head, but I felt disgusted. Anyways I went home and did some research, come to find out he does that to clients too and several of his employees have decided to quit because of it. I get a text message from him a couple of days after the interview. Saying that I got the job. I respectfully declined his offer and thanked him for his time. We called Mr. Caballero for a consultation of his services. This so called attorney during the conversation was rude, disrespectful and belligerent. He would not listen to our explanation of where the case is as he repeatedly interrupted saying he will charge $900. I asked him if there was a retainer agreement that he would send to us. He stated he does not work with retainers but he would send me one. Now I have been a paralegal for over 10 years and I have never seen an attorney not have a retainer contract. Furthermore, I question him on what his approach was going to be. He said I will send a motion for bail release and advise his client over the phone. I immediately told him due to his lack of standard practice we would not be retaining him. Before I finished he hung up. DO NOT HIRE THIS ATTORNEY. Find someone with better demeanor and customer service. read more

Please please please read and review what other people are saying about this so called law firm before you make the same mistake I did last week. First of all, their office looked like a very old storage full of papers, files, dust and dirts and smelled like mildew. No one was wearing mask or even considering social distancing measures during this COVID-19 crisis that thousands of Americans are dying every day. I Had an urgent legal question to ask; so I paid and waited more than 2 hours outside the office in my car! After I met Mr. Caballero, now I have doubt and question whether he is really a lawyer and even graduated from any universities, because decency is earned and actually learned when you are an educated person. I sat in his office and right after I asked my question before getting to the answer a lady came in without knocking the door and handed him about 6 different clients files and he started to review them and signed all that needed wasting almost 10 min of my precious time without even apologizing. After she left I rephrased my question and right before he starts answering my question his phone rang and rudely he picked up the phone and started talking in Spanish with someone about one of his clients thinking that I probably don't understand Spanish (which I am fluent in) I assume, considering Attorney client privilege and confidentiality, his client would have sued him if he knew I was listening to all his case issues,,,...Their conversation took exactly 17 min (I timed it) which made me extremely upset and mad and couldn't tolerate his disrespect. I left his office without any result and that was the first time in my entire life that I personally wasted my own almost 2 and half hours of precious time and regret why I didn't read other people's experience first!!!!
