Of all the schools I've been to, the amount of disrespect is unbelievable. When regarding a situation with covid protocols my ex husband and I had concerns. The principal decided to HANG up on my ex husband because she was uncomfortable with the concerns he addressed. I went as far to get the superintendent involved because of her lack of professionalism. I absolutely love the education that the Brea schools provide. The quality is unmatched.But the office at Brea Jr high is a pure embarrassment. I avoid going in at all cost. I have had no issues with the other schools my children attend and have not had this same experience with ANY previous schools office staff. Someone needs to make a change.

I met one of my oldest friends here in 8th grade because I remember that we had to make a memorial of September 11th. Somehow we ended up being really close friends after only knowing each other for a couple of weeks. Then again, our moms became best friends and are still close today. It was an interesting 2 years of my life. I would have to comment on some of the teachers, but then again, some of my teachers may have left already. My brother goes here now, and it seems okay. He does have some of the teachers that I had, but the place looks a lot newer than it did when I was there. New buildings and parking lot.

I even gave them a little history to help pull some timeless pranks that sent us rolling. A few "mistakes" on the checkout sheet is all it took. Honestly without their threats of removing my children from daycare and taking a hard stance on not being involved in the courts I never would have been able to remove there father like this. My son had a 10th grade english teacher at Rowland High school. She was very unprofessional and…read morevery dishonest. Very discriminatory towards students based upon racial ethnicity. Doesn't take grading seriously and wastes half the period talking about her personal life, very unprofessional for an educator. Her own curriculum fails to correlate with major assignments she gives out to students. These assignments can majorly impact a students grade for better or worse, and due to her inconsistency in teaching, it only really got worse for my son. Inconsistency in teaching also shows in her grading. There is no rubric for essays and major assignments, leaving many students confused and puzzled when given "make or break" assignments. Tends to hold uprofessional grudges against students in her classroom.

When I was in 5th grade, Miss Minshall always pushed us getting us ready for middle school. She was so amazing and the the teachers only get better and better. Miss Alfaro is so funny and actually understands us so well and yet knows when it's time to be serious. Miss Grasz gives excellent Spanish class teaching with her "Gabi" stories. Gabi is a cat who we read about in small cartoons. She does crazy stuff and makes that class so enjoyable. Mrs. Young is basically the same as Miss Alfaro. She's amazing! Mrs. Min always forgives no matter what. Our class is 30 students, and it is not easy to deal with us. We are very talkative. She keeps her cool and is always so nice to us. Mrs. Blain is great and always doing what needs to be done. Pastor Eric provides great Church messages getting us all closer to God. If you're looking to put your kid in private school and you're close to Brea, I would encourage you to bring your kid here. 5 stars for sure!

The pool here is nice enough there's a ton of steps to get to the pool and the elevator wasn't an option to get down to it. The concrete benches are uncomfortable.

My daughter attended this preschool for one year in the preschool program. Her classroom teacher…read morewas wonderful, caring, and one of the few positives about our experience. Unfortunately, our overall impression of the school and several other staff members was disappointing. One experience that really stood out involved a teacher named Esther, who teaches the 4-5-year-old class. While she may appear friendly at first, our experience with her was very different. One morning, my wife was holding the security gate open for an elderly grandfather who was walking into the preschool. Instead of appreciating the situation, Esther immediately yelled at my wife to close the gate and began lecturing her. Even after my wife explained that she was simply helping an elderly person enter safely, Esther continued to scold her and insisted that the grandfather could open the gate himself. We found her response unnecessarily harsh and lacking basic compassion and professionalism. Another concern was the school's annual Jogathon fundraiser. Families are encouraged to donate money, and children who participate receive a special T-shirt. Staff members then visit the classrooms to celebrate with those children by handing out small toys and snacks. We chose not to participate because we already pay significant tuition and did not feel obligated to make an additional donation. Later, the school sent parents a video of the celebration. Watching it was heartbreaking. My daughter was one of the children without the fundraiser shirt, and she was left standing in the back while the other children celebrated together. She was essentially separated from the group because we didn't donate. Regardless of the purpose of the fundraiser, I don't believe young children should ever be singled out or excluded based on whether their parents contribute financially. The children have no control over those decisions, and schools should make every effort to ensure all students feel included. I'm glad we ultimately decided to move our daughter to another school. While we appreciated her classroom teacher, our overall experience left us disappointed, and I would not recommend this preschool based on what our family experienced.
