Ended up in San Luis getting some car work done and we stopped at this little restaurant and boy oh boy did we enjoy it. We shared a couple fish tacos which were fresh, crisp, and delicious! The food is alright but I honestly really hate the tortillas they use, if you are planning to eat there then it's ok but if it's takeout then you'll probably get home to hard tortillas. The service is awesome though they offer curbside and that is super convenient, why not everyone has this is beyond me. The service was fast, the "fresh" seafood did not taste very fresh. The shrimp tasted over cooked and the octopus was chewy. My partner ordered a mixed order and the scallops were still frozen, we told the server about it and she said according to their "health regulations" they had to be served frozen. They did not want to take it off the bill so we ended up paying about 20 for a singular item that we could not even eat. Everything overall tasted old and thawed out. The salsa bottles also looked like they have never been cleaned before. 0/10 would never recommend. read more

Excellent seafood with very reasonable prices. Had the quesadilla with shrimp and octopus and the Special Soup with the same. Both were excellent with regards to the flavors and amount. Spouse had tacos that were excellent. Side sauces were flavorful and unique. Hard to find octopus normally where I'm from, so it was a treat. read more

I loved this place! So glad I found it on yelp. Was super easy to get to. An older neighborhood. This restaurant is in the yard of a home. It has been there for many years. There were TV's playing music videos. The waitress only spoke spanish. The shrimp ceviche tostada was downright cheap and delicious! Cash only. read more

A very typical Mexican outdoor covered dining area - it's hard not to think that you are in interior Mexico! Although you can get some meat tacos and such, they specialize in seafood dishes - we've had ceviche and seafood caldo, and both were delightful. Next time, I'll try the shrimp aguachilie and pulpo cocktail. They're fine with you bringing your own beer or wine. OK, I'm a snowbird gringo. My husband and I drove to San Luis thinking we might go over the border - much too busy so decided to have lunch in SL. Thank goodness for Yelp and Google maps. Although there were very few reviews, we decided on this place and was very pleasantly surprised. Patio seating only plus clean restrooms. The shrimp and fish tacos were delicious as was the chili rellenos - pretty authentic according to my husband who has traveled in Mexico much more than I have. Anyway, a hidden gem in SL. They specialize in seafood and the fish tacos are wonderful! The fresh-tasting crispy fish is topped with chopped cabbage, tomatoes, onions and a creamy dressing.
