What a pleasant place...staff and all! I have been delaying braces in any way I could for the past 18 months....there must be something simplier, something more affordable..........that is what I kept hoping for and trying different solutions. At About Face Dr. Price offered me the shorter term invisalign program that other orthodontists did not propose. My issue is not large nor should it take 18-24 months to resolve. He was the only orthodontist that provided this "express" option alternative. My next visit I will receive my Invisaligns and I am super excited!! Thank you Dr. Price for giving me that less expensive option - I am grateful for that! Oh yeah - and I laughed a lot while I was there....what a pleasant staff. read more

My Daughter has been treated twice by Dr. Price, she has upper and lower retainers that she has to wear every night and she does it religiously, although they are no longer working. Several month's ago when we were in his office getting the retainers tightened (thinking they were simply loose hence why they weren't working), we spoke with him about her bite and the anatomy of her mouth changing... He had my daughter in tears referring to her as both mental and clueless, he never even checked inside of her mouth, took models or x-rays. Our general dentist found at her 6 month cleaning that she has an open bite meaning that only her back teeth are touching which makes chewing her food near impossible; she is tearing and ripping her food! She needs braces again and some teeth may need to come out, I would not let Dr. Price treat my dog, he needs to get over himself. read more

Where do I start?? Dr. Price and his amazing staff have become like family over the years! For a while I felt like I basically lived there (and they probably would've set up a cot for me if I asked!). Dr. Price is knowledgeable, kind, understanding and amazing at what he does. The staff members are exceptional and always treat you like they are your own family member. My family and I started going there when my oldest daughter needed braces. Within a year and a half, her teeth were gorgeously aligned! A few years later and she still has the smile people dream of! As soon as her treatment ended, my journey started. I had had braces when I was a kid but my then orthodontist never fixed my alignment issues. My top jaw was too narrow and set too far back. Having TMJ issues, I had many consults at many different places to help manage my pain which got so bad at night that I could barely talk. After many failed attempts at trying to manage it with splints and PT, I finally decided to look into having surgery to correct my jaw alignment. I first had to have a surgery to clean up my jaw joints and move my discs back in place (can't fix a house without fixing the foundation first). Once I was healed from that, I started with consults with Dr. Price in preps to get braces on. After having such an amazing experience with my daughter, how could I go anywhere else? Dr. Price worked closely with my oral surgeon for almost two years while I was in braces making sure my teeth were going to be perfect in preps for a long 9 hour orthognathic surgery. Surgery day came and I went home and Dr. Price and his office sent me flowers! Who else does that?? Simply amazing!! After a few more adjustments and a few months after surgery, I got my braces off in June of 2017....my teeth are beautifully aligned! Dr. Price and his staff made my long, hard, painful journey a beautiful one! I looked forward to going there for my appointments! My time there wasn't done yet!! We also have two younger twin daughters who are prime age for orthodontic work. We were concerned one had a cross bite and figured we'd get the other checked as well seeing how with family history of jaw misalignment we didn't want them to be too old for easier corrective methods than surgery at an adult age like me. One is good to go until she's a little older but our daughter with the cross bite was recommended by Dr. Price to have an expander put in hopes it would widen her top jaw and her jaw would shift over on its own. Well....he was right! She just got her expander removed today and she no longer has a cross bite and we get her retainer next week. I'm sure she will need braces in a couple of years and I would not hesitate to bring her to Dr. Price and his awesome staff to start her journey to a forever beautiful smile! I have been a patient of Dr. Mark Price for many years and have nothing but wonderful things to say about my experience with him and his office staff. I first had orthodontic treatment by another provider as a young child. Over time as a young adult, I experienced some shifting of my teeth (admittedly due to poor compliance with regular retainer use) and went back for treatment and completed Invasalign with Dr. Price. I was thrilled with the outcome!!! Dr. Price is devoted to ensuring his patients have the best possible outcome after treatment and a gorgeous smile. He is a perfectionist and this shows in his artistry. The office staff is equally as wonderful. From the receptionists who schedule the appointments, to the staff helping finance arrangements and the orthodontic assistants, their professionalism is unmatched! It truly feels like I'm visiting family when I visit Dr. Price's office. They are flexible when appointments need to be changed at the last minute and are also easily accessible "in case of an emergency" even if the office is closed. I currently reside in Connecticut, and undoubtedly have a vast array of orthodontists close by that I could see for treatment, but I will absolutely return to Dr. Price's office in Rutland, Vermont for any future orthodontic needs of myself or my husband and children. I know many of his patients also travel a great distance for their appointments which obviously is a testament to Dr. Price's care and professionalism.
