It was very intense, definitely on the harder side, but VERY worth it. The business owner is amazing, and incredibly passionate about his rooms. I travel frequently and I have been using Tours by Towncar to get me to and from the Halifax…read moreairport for over 10 years now. Probably over 100 trips. I also pre-book them for guests from away. Jim and his chauffeurs show up on time, every time. The cars are always clean and safe. Taxis in HRM can be pretty scary. Jim and his team are very responsive, but I recommend booking your car a couple of hours in advance to give them a chance to plan their schedule. These guys are pretty busy, but they have never let me down. Most of my trip are really early or really late. FYI The standards for cars that work as "limos" at the airport (they have the triangle bumper sticker) are very high. If I remember correctly, the price difference between a city taxi fare and a limo/towncar to or from the airport is only about 10 bucks. For that amount you get an immaculate ride, a newspaper if you want it and help with your bags. Its worth it to arrive safe and in a good state of mind.

They also attached a copy of my online order. I ended up having to chase up my tracking information as I didn't receive a call from the shop as they advised I would. Upon checking my tracking information, I discovered that the parcel was NOT sent by the Xpresspost shipping (which I paid for) as I needed the costume by a certain date. This means that it is not going to arrive until after the event it was purchased for. My parcel was shipped by a method that is approximately 75% cheaper than the option I paid for. The staff have not been helpful in attempting to rectify the problems. I would NOT recommend Ripsters to anybody!
