Repaired outside water leak in April 2024 and leak is back. Called and was informed that they warranty for 1 year. Said they would come repair again. Told receptionist I don't think I can afford to pay to have the same leak repaired every 2 years. I think customers with leak issues are better served looking elsewhere for service. read more

I had a stopped up sewer line. They did come out the same day. The technician Tanner was very nice and friendly. However, he did not complete the job but charged me $396.00. When he was done he told me that I couldn't use my washing machine- that my pipe was broken and it would be a $1800.00 repair. When I called them back the next day to tell them the line wasn't clear they told me that somehow overnight that the line had filled up with dirt and there was no guarantee. Mind you they had scheduled this $1800 job for Monday a few days ahead. A friend recommended an old school plumber who had worked at the city for 33 years. He came by and manually snaked that pipe and repaired it for less than $100 and I can now use my toilets and washing machine. Everything is working perfectly. And he saved me $1700. that these people were going to charge me. read more

Despite having MJ service our lake rental for a "general" plumbing inspections, nobody checked our septic aerator (the NEW one installed by them after the original died). Nobody told us to have the filter cleaned every 6 months; so our "new" one (installed by them) died 2 years after we bought it. Shouldn't the "general plumbing inspection" include checking that?? Also, we had not one, not two, but THREE sinks leaking even after the last plumbing inspection. This was discovered after dripping faucets for the recent winter storm. We had them come out twice recently to fix the problem before a 9-night guest booking. First, they made a mess of glue in the master bathroom, and then (apparently) didn't finish installing the other faucet drain because our guests called tonight to complain that the secondary bathroom sink was leaking. This was AFTER we called the technician to verify the job was done, since there was glue all over one bathroom faucet/sink, and it didn't appear that the second one was even connected to the drain. We were assured everything was fine. Not so much!! Update: Called them first thing this morning, to try to get them out there to fix it ASAP. Were told they couldn't go out until tomorrow, and asked if the guests could just not use that bathroom. So 6 grown men are supposed to share one bathroom? We are going to have to give them a discount, which is more money out of our pockets. read more

if I could give zero stars I would the only good I can say is they showed up on time. when I called I asked them how much they charged for coming out. the lady said no charge they will give you a price on the job then if you hire us you will agree with price.That was a lye he told me he could not fix the water leak outside my house without equipment to dig up a bush I told him I could jerk the bush out with a chain and my truck.he gives me two quotes the fix the leak it would start at 1700 or 7000 to replumb my house when I said I need to think about it the it was a 309. dollar charge that would go towards the bill if I hired them. he told me someth about cutting a pipe and capping it. I didn't know what he was talking about it was a gas line and it has been leaking gas. I'm reporting them to whoever I can. read more

They priced themselves right out of the market. I had a broken PVC pipe, under a pier and beam floor. They charged $472 to replace 2 feet of plastic pipe and 1 elbow. Maybe $20 worth of material, and it only took 20 minutes. That is outrageous and I will NEVER call them again and have been telling everyone I know. What a damn ripoff and a complete waste of my time. And yes, I could have said NO, and truly I regret not saying so, as I could have and should have done it myself. read more

Our plumber was honest with us and saved us some money when he could have easily charged us for parts instead of going the extra mile to determine that some of our plumbing issues where actually electrical. read more

This organization has it correct when it comes to customer service, being on time , respect for their customer, and pride in doing the very best. Super professional was Rodney and Blaine when they came to do work at my residency in 100+ weather. Whereas the other outfit I contacted 2 days before, NO SHOWED the next day even after a few phone calls to their office to see when their person may be coming. We had a great experience with Mark Johnson Plumbing! They are extremely professional. They send you an email and a text message of the technician who will be coming to your house along with a picture and information about them. Every person we spoke with on the phone and our technician were polite and respectful. We did have some issues with the city and timing of a few things but Mark Johnson Plumbing always answered our calls- even at 9:30 pm on a Sunday night, and worked effortlessly to help us. They own up to responsibility, even when its not their fault, and they continued to show us that they care about their customers! We were beyond pleased with this business. Our water heater went out and one can only take so many cold showers during winter. Mark Johnson Plumbing was very efficient in getting out to us to replace our water heater (it was about 20 years old, so it was time anyway). They informed us every step of the way from reminder texts and emails about when the technician would be out to our house, to who the exact technician would be along with their picture and the fact they were on their way. Although they give an estimated time, we didn't have to spend all day waiting and wondering when they would be there. Daniel Blazier and Tate were absolutely amazing. Very professional and efficient. Within a few hours, they had us all fixed up and I never once got the feeling that they were trying to scam us or sell us something not needed. i couldn't possibly rave on this company enough. before they arrived, i received a biography of the technician that would be here. that was really awesome because my husband was at work and it was nice to know a good christian family man was on his way. Quinn Wall was professional and personable. he not only fixed what we called for-- a leaking toilet and old water hose faucet, but noticed the toilet tank needed a rebuild. the toilet flushes with a simple push- no more holding the handle down for the longer time we never realized we had grown accustomed to! i had also changed the bathtub spout myself, and my attempt to upgrade left a gap-- they were able to change this out with one that fit snug and flush to the wall. They inspected the plumbing throughout the house and even gave the new toilet the "QW" test-- it didnt wobble under his weight and now it doesnt wobble for us. he had to level it with shims and showed me for the future so my cleaning would not disturb these pivotal additions that no longer make me feel more concise of my weight from the toilet shifting! he was concerned about having to cut the siding to get to the water spout outside, checking and double checking with me ten times over, despite my efforts to reassure him it was no problem. he paid attention to details, even picking up on my husband's profession from a police scanner charging on the kitchen counter. the company called later to follow up with us-- the whole experience was impressive! this is more a rambling rave, but like I said before, I cannot praise them enough. we will use them for all our plumbing needs in the future and would highly recommend them to anyone in need of a plumbing service. read more
