I have heard some bad things about MMFord. Well,I love them. We supposedly had a truck ordered through Crain Ford in Little Rock. The salesman at that place never even turned in our order. This truck is the beginning of a new chapter in our lives. Now, we are stuck even longer. Thanks to Caleb at Mark Martin Ford, maybe it will not be that long after all. I waited a few years to write a review because I was so upset but here goes.. For the record I have bought two newer vehicles from this lot. My husband traded in his truck in on a truck that had body damage. We were told that is would cost one price to fix it and that wasn't true. The very next day we called to say that we didn't want the truck we signed for but would come buy another on the lot. I was told that they would see what they could do. No call back. I called again and was told that sorry we can't help you and we sold your truck anyway. Thankfully we called Freedom Ford in Melbourne and they gave us what we paid for the truck and we went home with one we wanted anyway! So now I have made it my mission to tell everyone every detail about my personal experience with the Mark Martin dealerships. Stonewalled. That's the first phrase that comes to mind when I think of my experience at Mark Martin Ford in Batesville. After finding a very nice 2014 used chevy silverado we made repeated offers on the vehicle. They completely and totally stonewalled us. They stayed at the same price from the first day until 3 weeks after our first visit. It's been a month now and they still have the truck on the lot. I made a CASH offer no less. The director of internet sales, Mark White, was extremely polite and nice but not helpful at all. He told us "This is a special price for you based on an internet listing". But, that's essentially BS. I know this Because I found a vehicle online at McLarty Honda in Little Rock that also had a so called "internet price". I went to the dealership, again made a cash offer, which they accepted!!!!! It was well below their special "internet price". And the truck was a year newer and had less mileage than the one at Mark Martin. Imagine that. Not only this, but our experience at McLarty was near perfectly streamlined, the sales team we dealt with basically had a send off for us there! Every time we entered Mark Martin Ford it felt like a gloomy ghost town with a few straggling sales associates hanging out chewing the proverbial fat around Mark Martin's retired racecars. To be brutally honest this place has a sad pathetic feel to it, as though Mr. Martin is banking on his mediocre past in order to sell vehicles. It's terribly ironic since I repeatedly heard them say "We don't want people around here to go to Little Rock to buy their vehicles". DO NOT BUY HERE! My car has been back in service multiple times with multiple problems. I called Mark Martin he called back knowing I was unhappy with the car I only had it for a few months I drove an 1hour and 50 minutes one way to keep bringing the car back, not to say we had bad loaners one coming off the lot 2015 Edge which surprise to me it had brake issues and this car they were going to sell without fixing the problem to another unknowing person. Then Mr. Moody the general manager of all Mark Martin stores is very unprofessional and talks down to us like it was our fault that we bought a lemon. I have my business and I never treat people like that. That is so disrespectful. Mark Martin said he would make it right when all they tried to do was upsell us a another car. All we wanted was for them to make it right when all they wanted to do is make more money. Mark Martin was the one who told me to pick a car out and we will make it right. And current to this point they will refuse to take care of us. I have bought cars from dealership my entire adult life this is the worst experience I ever had at a dealership.
