After experiencing engagement/wedding photography, I would actually have to say that the pictures are NOT the most important part. The most important part is how well the photographers and the subjects (us as a couple) work together. We totally dug Betsy and Justin. They are both so low key and relaxed, but at the same time, they get stuff done. They pose you and also take your suggestions for what you'd like to see. They are open to suggestions, but are also professionals, so they know what works and what doesn't work. They have such great personalities and are so good at what they do that my whole family was so appreciative of them on our wedding day. Having photographers with a good personality and disposition is so important, because they help you feel at ease, and therefore, take more beautiful pictures! I also have to say that Betsy is so kind for working with me. I have a pretty direct personality, and sometimes that doesn't always go over well. I found Each Day Counts a few months back when I was looking for local photographers. I found out the Each Day Counts is owned by Ruben Porras, when I called him he was so energetic about taking on a new projects he told me I should see some of his work at the Redding Art Hop, where his photos would be on display for a whole month. When I arrived to the show I was greeted by a very sweet, smiling man being Ruben himself, he showed me all his photos telling me a little story about each one, some made me laugh, some made me think, and some even made me cry. That is how amazing his work is, I can safely say I don't cry over simple photographs. His work shows life as it is and real people. I also had my 9 year old and her best friend's done at the same time. It was such a blast. We did hair, make up, & got all dressed up before we met up. Tammy had two different locations for us to shoot at. They were both amazing. She did tons of individual pictures for each girl. She also took a ton of group photos. How she organized all of those girls and was able to get such great uniform group photos, was amazing.
