When speaking with the manufacturer's representative of the PVC sheeting company (Versico), he said everyone knows that you can't put PVC sheeting over asphalt as it will deteriorate within a year and that he did not like to see it happen and hated to say it but that we had gotten screwed. One roofing company we had stop by for a bid to replace the roof said they had never seen such a bad roofing job. There was much more wrong than just the PVC being on top of the tarred roof. Whenever we had concerns, we were gaslighted until we stopped explaining our concerns. We continually heard "take five roofers and you will get five different opinions" or "residential application is different than commercial application". Oregon Contractors Board's mediator worked out a deal between us in 2023.

To top this all off, this guy tries to give me an invoice for another $2800!!! He said he could install a pipe underground. He wasn't even licensed to do this! They both said he did a terrible job and were embarrassed for him and the fact that he actually had a license. I've been in this nightmare for months and had to file a complaint against the CCB on him, tried mediation and now am going to have to go to court.
