I have never been evicted and have rented 3 other properties never once from them, so to jump the gun with misinformation is SO unprofessional. They do not need to be renting to anyone. Within five minutes of me agreeing to reschedule, she texted back telling me that we were back on for the originally scheduled time. As for the tour, It did not go well. I understand fully that Agora is the property manager, not the owner, but the property is in poor shape. There is a dramatic slope in the floor in the bathroom. Stacey described it as "small", but frankly this is a gross understatement. Yes, it's a matter of semantics, but this slope is substantial. The "tile" that covers 90% of the bathroom walls is flimsy, porous laminated material with no backing. The one AC unit for the entire apartment did not work. There are numerous exposed wires, outlets without covers, paint brush bristles dried in several cabinets, lots of paint drops dried on the floor (Stacey says they will "wipe right up"), several spots where paint was missed on each wall, weather stripping on each window that was carelessly painted over, the furnace thermostat is dangling off of the wall, the house number is not as advertised in the listing (and digits are missing from the door) and plenty of other details that are concerning. Aside from the sad state of the unit, I found Stacey's comments towards me quite offensive. I told her my employment history, including that I had taken several months out of work to recover from an operation, and she snarked "oh then it's about time to quit your job" and laughed. She also acted surprised when I told her my age. She remarked "you're younger than I thought"... thanks? Stacey was incredibly unprofessional, to a shocking degree. I will be seeking living accommodations elsewhere: nothing I saw today inspired confidence in this company's ability to successfully manage and maintain a residence.

My rental lease, with the current tenants expires in July 2012. Out of the blue I got an email telling me they have signed a new lease agreement with a new tenant. When I started asking questions about the new renters, they told me that they are disappointed in my email. When I pressed them for answers they terminate our management agreement. They called me unprofessionial because I asked for answers to some basic questions. Questions like what's their credit score, has the tenants ever rented any place before, are they employed, and etc. I find out that it is two college baseball players and I was told if I do not rent to them then I will be breaking the fair housing act. I reminded them that I never approved or rejected the tenant and I am not reponsible for anything actions they did without my approval. Overall I am very disappointed in how I was treated by the ETeam Dayton. Their tone made it sound like I work for them and I have no say in my investment. By the way they are also realtors, they had my listing and never was able to sell the property. Received one offer and they recommended I decline it. I do not blame them for me not accepting the offer, but I have to say they were not were very up-to-date on what the real estate market was doing in 2009. Actually turned out to be a very good offer at the time.

They had painted the countertops in the kitchen and master bathroom. The kitchen has original cabinets. The drawer was broken and fell out when we tried to open it. The kitchen floor is original hardwood, not refinished. There were exposed wires above the sink over an old light. None of the appliances were updated. This house was a previous rental and was filthy, the fridge was full of mold and stunk horribly. Home Experts is the listing agent. I wouldn't trust them at all if they think this is newly remodeled.

She recommended we try one of their property managers for management and ended up signing a contract with Jeff Monbeck, property manager from Home Experts Realty. Jeff Monbeck was unprofessional and even expressed racism while talking to us about where our property is located in Dayton. Long story short, he lied about work that had happened in our property by his electrician. His lies caused us thousands in losses. We spoke to the broker/owner Mr. Corlis and unfortunately gave us no help besides allowing us to terminate the agreement, even though they broke contract agreements. I don't recommend Home Experts Realty for property management.
