    Blake's Hard Cider . . . "El Chavo (spicy)" & "Black Phillip (Orange Pomegranate)" . . .

Did the car wash today, and I was glad it was open on such a frigid day, but once again, not a very good wash . . . still had ice on my running boards and rear bumper after it was over, and lots of spots and dirt remained, especially on the sunroof. Gave the gentleman guiding me in a tip, and he laughed at me (not sure how to read that). Went inside to use the bathroom, and there are two sinks in the men's room, one had water and no soap, and the other had soap, but no water. I also noticed that the staff inside the store seemed pretty grumpy, either not enough coffee, or maybe post-holiday irritation. Even the sushi guys looked at me funny, Hmmmm?!?! Cheers!

Wow I love these district markets they have everything I need. Lots of parking and a Starbucks right in the entrance plus lots of hot deli food. Pizza for $1.99 a slice is a good deal and they have a little dining area. It's nice they have a pharmacy Zane also a huge selection of food items. Biggest beer selection I've seen for a grocery store and nicest decor. Staff was great and helped me with directions to my next place. Stop in my review doesn't do justice

This is a small place that holds lots of good things-including a Starbucks. They have a dining room which is always clean. They sell a lot of prepared foods and even have a small cafe that serves great food. They have a huge beer selection and a nice salad bar. They also have fresh flowers and a small selection of groceries. It's a great place to eat or meet for coffee. The atmosphere is warm and inviting.

This location is less about the groceries and more about the prepared foods/cafe/bakery/Starbucks. And beer. They have almost no meat in the case, but you can find whatever type of beer you might want. Having said that, the organic produce section has grown since they first opened, and the prepared foods are pretty good. I find myself stopping in fairly regularly, as it's within walking distance of my house so is super convenient for me. I still do most of shopping at the regular Market District in Bethel Park, but it's always nice to have a place this close when i realize I forgot that one ingredient for my veggie curry. And I happen to like Starbucks. And beer.

Grab and go with a flare!

Braised short rib was better than Bistro 19's short rib. If it is on the menu, don't think twice.

Food is good, prices are what you'd expect at a chain restaurant but it's different and the service is friendly. Worth popping in for a bite

Not only is there such a wide variety of tasty food at the Whole Foods buffet, but you actually feel healthy eating it, and you can make it highly nutritious. You can get excited about the salads, or the roasted vegetables, or the orange chicken, or even that herb feta that you can quite frankly put on anything and everything. The way they make their orange chicken is honestly my favorite. I'm not usually someone who gets excited about orange chicken, but the way they do it here (it's just amazing) and hard to beat. I also love that I can mix together a bunch of healthy salads at once, and I really appreciate the flavor profiles and the freshness (it just elevates the whole experience). I'm honestly forever inspired by this place. It makes me want to look up recipes, learn how different flavors go together, and experiment on my own. It's as much a learning experience as it is a health experience. Anyway, I know it's not cheap, but for me, it's still really worth it. It's consistently something that makes me feel "renewed" so I'm going to keep it as a part of the routine as long as I can afford it. Another cool perk is that if you're a Prime member, you get 5% back if you use your Chase/Whole Foods/Amazon setup. And honestly, the customer service at Chase Bank is the best, and Prime is convenient, so it all just goes together; and while I realize they're kind of taking over the world right now (they are), they're doing it in a way that works for me, so it is what it is. Also, the kale salads (people really need to understand how good kale can be when it's done right) are nothing short of life changing and it can give you the inspiration you need to make it yourself. In addition to the hot bar, they also have specialty items I can only really find here (like Pacha bread, seed crackers, unsweetened coconut yogurt, broccoli greens, organic baby kale greens, and a bunch of other unique, healthy options that are honestly really exciting). That said, baseline prices are definitely high. For example, tart cherry juice at Whole Foods is literally around $14, whereas at Target (across the street) it's more like $5. So it's one of those things where you kind of have to go back and forth and be strategic about what you buy where. Let's face it, Whole Foods is not leading the world in cheap prices. Because it's pricey, you do have to be real and shop at other grocery stores when you can, but every time I go, I can't help myself from getting at least a little bit of the buffet food if it's open, because that's really where it's at.

Disclaimer, I'm not a regular shopper at Fresh Thyme Market - not because the store is bad per se,…read morebut because it's pricey. Fresh Thyme is an organic food supermarket chain, so I'll stop in occasionally to see what's new and/or to treat myself to some "fancy" groceries. Because of the cost of their items though, I'll shop here for supplemental goodies after getting my main haul elsewhere. (For me, Aldi and Trader Joe's are stops #1 and #2. Places like this, Giant Eagle, and The Fresh Market are where I go "just because" or when I want to splurge on groceries.) When I do stop in I always explore the baked goods and frozen foods - usually there are items and brands in these sections that aren't at other stores. (A lot of items are gluten free, too, which I know makes a difference to a lot of people.) I generally skip the produce and deli sections; the selections in both are decent but I can find these things elsewhere for less. And here's something I've never had to say about a grocery store before: I ALWAYS walk right past their supplements section, which is (in my opinion) unnecessarily large. I could talk at length about my problems with how supplements are (not) managed in America, so before I bog down my own review we'll move right along! Final thoughts: their selection is fine, and in theory it's great that they sell a variety of "healthy" things. In practice though, the food products are overpriced, and there are enough vitamins and supplements on sale that I almost question whether or not this should be classified as a grocery store. While I'll pop in and out of here occasionally, I'll never be a regular shopper.
