5/5 Market Grille Cafe continues to be one of our absolute favorite restaurants in Las Vegas. We stopped in for an impromptu early Father's Day dinner and, despite a busy dining room, they seated us right away and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We've probably dined here 20+ times over the years, and the experience is consistently excellent. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and arrives surprisingly fast. The pomegranate chicken is absolutely delicious and a must order. The pesto hummus is another favorite that never disappoints. Whether you're in the mood for Greek or Italian, they do both exceptionally well. The decor and ambiance create a warm, inviting atmosphere, and the live music on select nights is a great touch. The wait staff is always attentive, friendly, and on top of everything. You can tell this is a family run restaurant that genuinely cares about its guests, and that pride shows throughout the entire team. Highly recommended. Went on a Tuesday night and it went from empty to 100% full. There was a female who was singing on stage which added to the ambiance because it wasn't loud. Service: Our server was Lisa and she was friendly. Explained the menu thoroughly to us, upsold us for making our food meals and got us to do dessert. You get 10% off if you're a gym member with LVAC. Also, I gave my phone number and you get $10 off for every time you spend $100. I now have $10 off and a discount for next time! Food: I got a filet gyro that came with basmati rice, a pita bread/hummus and greek salad. Next time I'll get it dry as I never really liked Tzatziki sauce but I knew better so that was my fault. I still ate everything. My wife and mom get chicken skewers, and my dad went Italian with the eggplant and spaghetti. Appetizers were dolma and this cheese that they set on fire and came with pita bread. I forget the name but all pictures attached. Dessert: My wife and I got this warm brownie filled with chocolate chips, caramel, etc.. I believe it was called the Genevieve? My only criticism is for $9.50 I wish I got more. But regardless would order again. Lisa recommended the mother's day some type of lemon cake and came with raspberries. My mom liked it and said that was the moistest cake she ever had. I guess this was a locals spot cause my aunt took us here since she lives like down the street. I feel a lot of people come here for their Italian food cause I went inside to walk to the back to do a togo order. A lot of people had there Italian dishes. My son loves spaghetti. We got him the spaghetti and meatballs. He says he approves 1000x. I tired it to see what he was talking about. When I tried it. I instantly knew why he approved. I can only imagine how there meat ball flat bread pizza taste. I got the chicken skewer plate togo . I have no clue if the portion size is different from being seated inside. It comes with one skewer, one veggie skewer, herb rice, 3 triangles piece of pita bread, and 2oz cup of hummus. For whatever the price is, I feel like it isn't enough for whatever you pay for. I've paid for Persian food that is similar to the Greek plate and get more food out of it. I gave them a 4 stars for the portion size. Wasn't notified about the food being ready. When I went to go check if it was ready and which it was. I exited with my food and about to get in my truck I get the notification that it ready for pick up. read more

I'm such a huge fan of this locally owned and family run business. Everything about this place is top-notch not only as their food out of this world fresh but the customer service is always five star! Stopped in to pick up to go lunch for my husband and I. I showed up at lunchtime, but was greeted very quickly by a friendly hostess, who took my order then directed me to the takeout station to pay. I didn't know there was a separate take out station otherwise I would have gone there directly, but she kindly took my order and then directed me there afterwards. Once at the take out station, I confirmed my order by an equally pleasant server named Carrie. After taking care of payment I ran over to TJ Maxx to pick up an item and while I was standing in line, I received a text that my order was ready took less than 15 minutes at lunchtime pretty impressive. Got the food home and everything smelled and looked delicious. Well guess what it taste just as great! My husband had the meatball pizza made with pita bread, the Italian fries and the traditional baklava. He devoured it all! I had the Shrimp Bowl with no rice and the yogurt dill sauce. The shrimp were bog, juicy and grilled to perfection! The lettuce tomatoes and feta were fresh and tasty. YD sauce was creamy and the perfect dressing for my bowl. Market Grille Cafe was an excellent choice for lunch recently. I ordered from their lunch special menu.. I had the pomegranate chicken wrap and chose Greek salad as my side. The service was good , the atmosphere is very nice, like a bistro. Apparently, they have music during the evenings and happy hour.. It is a popular place for all of these reasons. Based on my experience Saturday afternoon, I'll mention the pros and cons. For the most part, the food is fresh and tasty. The atmosphere is pleasant with the piano player. The inside temperatures were a bit too chilly for us, so bring a sweater or jacket with you( this is summer 95 degrees right now). There were only three of us in our party and we asked for separate checks, and had to remind the waiter. He also forgot to bring us more bread for the Baba ghanoush, and didn't refill our drinks. For a Greek restaurant, the Baba Ghanoush was meh. It needed more olive oil as it was like paste and flavorless. We wanted dessert, but our waiter rushed us with bringing the bill with some comment about "waiting for him" while he backed away. He was confusing so I asked him to stay and let him know we'd like to order the Baklava. Which, was delicious! The cleaning crew did a great job clearing the table too. Other than that, I'd give it an "8" of 1-10 scale. I've never waited tables before, so I can imagine it's very difficult to remember everything. We came to Market Grille Cafe for a late lunch on a Sunday. We were seated promptly and given menus right away. Our server was great...attentive, friendly, and checked in on us just the right amount without hovering. Service wise, no complaints at all. The dining area is spacious, which I really appreciated, and the tables are spaced far enough apart that you don't feel on top of other guests. They also have patio seating, which would be really nice when the weather warms up. Unfortunately, the day we went it was windy and overcast, so we stayed inside. The restroom was mostly clean and well stocked with toiletries, which is always appreciated. However, one of the bathrooms had a very bad leak around the toilet, and there was noticeable grime buildup because of it. That definitely took away from the overall cleanliness impression and should be addressed. What We Ordered: * Gyro Fries - $15 Very large portion and easily shareable between myself and my two girls. The gyro meat was delicious, with thick slices that were tender and not dried out. Plenty of tomatoes and red onion, which added freshness. I liked that the sauce was placed in one area...great for anyone who prefers to control how much sauce they eat. That said, I personally felt the fries could have used more dill yogurt sauce and feta. Still, overall a solid dish. * Kids Cheese Pizza (pita bread) - $7 Comes with a soft drink, which makes it a good value price wise. The pizza itself was okay....nothing bad, but nothing to rave about either. My little one wasn't really feeling it and didn't eat much. * Pomegranate Chicken Wrap - $17 This came with a side salad, which unfortunately needed more dressing as it was pretty dry. The spinach wrap itself was soft, fresh, and delicious, and the portion was large enough to easily share between two people. However... the pomegranate chicken was a huge disappointment unfortunately. It was completely bland no seasoning, no sweetness, no pomegranate flavor at all. When you're paying that price and ordering something specifically for the flavor profile, you expect it to deliver. Instead, it was just plain chicken, which made the dish feel like a missed opportunity. Honestly, it was sad for what could have been a standout item. Overall Service and atmosphere were strong, portions were generous, and some menu items definitely shine. That said, consistency in flavor especially on higher priced dishes....really matters. I'd come back for the gyro fries or to try other menu items, but I'd skip the pomegranate chicken unless it gets reworked on. When the Lunch Menu adds $1 for that chicken my mind thinks this is because it's really delicious. No not today! read more

My wife and I tried Market Grille Cafe on Durango and were honestly really impressed. The place has a nice atmosphere without feeling over the top. It's comfortable and just a good spot to sit down and enjoy a meal. The portions were great, especially for the price. You definitely won't leave hungry, and the prices are fair for what you get. The menu has a good mix of Greek, Italian, and Mediterranean food, and everything tasted fresh and full of flavor. I liked that they had the classic Mediterranean dishes but also some different items you don't see everywhere. Service was helpful with picking popular menu items, ambiance is tuscan decor lots of greenery. I love ordering my favorite vegetarian meal, eggplant parmesan to go from this restaurant. On this particular day, I met a friend for lunch and we ate inside, which I deeply regret. It was loud and chaotic, and the waitress was all over the place mentally and physically. They had overworked and we could feel it by not getting everything we needed, having to wait awhile (10 mins) for the items we asked for like sugar for our tea. The food was fantastic as usual. Anything I've ever ordered from here it is delicious. I've just never experienced actually eating in the restaurant which I never want to do again. Here visiting in Vegas. This was hands down one of the best lunches I have had in a long time. While sitting inside Market grille, I felt wrapped around authenticity. The menus had plenty of good selections and an option to add protein to a lot of the dishes which is great for vegetarians. I had pasta Giovanni. The fusili pasta was cooked perfectly and coated with a fresh pesto sauce that was vibrant, bright, and savory. It came with plenty of rosemary-olive oil pita bread. The pita was pillowy and all toasty with light sprinkles of course grain salt that burst with flavor while chewing. I had some of the eggplant parmesan and it was fantastic. Despite the eggplant being covered in this delightfully warm and well balanced marinara sauce, the well seasoned crust of the eggplant maintained a solid crispiness that I won't forget! Market left nothing to complain and deserves 5 stars. I absolutely look forward to trying other menu items when I return. read more

My favorite restaurant in the northwest side of Las Vegas. It's located 7070 North Durango Drive Las Vegas, NV 89149 which is in the same strip mall as TJ Max and Smiths. It is right next to Pollo Loco. There are 3 parking spots next to the restaurant for pick up orders. If dining-in, there are parking spots right in front of the restaurant. The food has never changed which is great because everything simply tastes great. Today, I ordered the Traditional Gyro with balsamic rice, 4 pita bread, and side of humus. Food is flavorful and fresh. I've been coming to this restaurant ever since they were in their previous location and I've never been disappointed. I decided to use their online order and pick up my food. The staff are friendly and pleasant. Service is one of the best in town. The restaurant has a traditional Mediterranean feeling and very clean. I would recommend this restaurant. read more

We also tried the chicken gyro which was the perfect size and taste. Our bill totaled about $100 (to-go order not pictured). We were surprised at how fast the food came out, given the quality. The food here was very good. I had the Mama Mia Chicken without pistachios. I could of used more of the balsamic sauce for my potatoes but otherwise great dish. I'll get it with rice next time. I had a glass of sparkling wine with an edible hibiscus flower in it to drink. It was refreshing. The lemon butter cake with raspberries was my favorite thing to eat for the night. Delicious! I took the one star off for our server. She did a good job of faking like she wanted to help us but the vibe from start seemed as though she didnt. She would dissapear for long times with us just waiting around for her. She wasnt very friendly, just more business. Despite the rather generic name, the food at Market Grille Cafe is anything but generic. This family owned and operated restaurant specializes in Mediterranean cuisine, mainly Greek dishes. Everything is homemade. The inside is pretty big and they even have a small stage for live music. We visited for lunch and when we walked in, we were greeted by the owner, Joe, who made sure to make us feel welcomed. They offer a lunch special which comes with an entree, side and beverage for $14. This is a really good deal if you compare the individual prices. I got a traditional gyro and fries, and my SO got the chicken & veggie skewer with avgolemono soup. The food was great. I enjoyed the tzatziki sauce on the gyro. My only recommendation would be to consider dicing the cucumbers on the gyro instead of having them as slices. Otherwise, the flavor was good and the meat was tender. The service was also excellent. We are vegan and found the wait staff to be very knowledgeable about what is and is not vegan. My husband got the falafel wrap. This was a miss for him as it contained a lot of rice and was quite dry. They were nice enough to bring him a side of hummus to go with it. He is not a fan of too much rice. I got the veggie skewers and was surprised that they only gave a small amount of pita to go with it. They also gave a huge pile of rather dry and flavorless rice. The salad to start was nice. I came here a few months back and the food was ok. I thought I'd give it a try again. Wow, this time nothing was ok. The dolmades (stuffed grape leaves) were stuffed way too large. The minute I bit into it, the filling all fell out, and the leaves were extremely thick and stringy so I had to toss them all... inedible and $9 for 4 of them. Also, the dip that came with them just tasted like a spoonful of Mayo. The avgolomeno soup tasted like it was sitting in a pot, and the rice absorbed all the broth. We finally stopped here to eat after driving by it all the time. Very calm and clean restaurant. We were seated quickly and the service was really great and friendly. The owner was on site that day and introduced himself. It is family owned with family recipes, so we really respect that! As for the food, it was good. Everything is homemade. My kids got the pizza and pasta. We also tried the chicken gyro. That was tasty. But the most tasty dish was the pomegranate chicken. That was a new flavor that we've never tried before and it was a nice surprise. We ordered it with the salad. I would eat that again. The homemade pesto hummus was also good. So happy with the food. Price wise, it was about $5.50 for kids meals that come with a drink. And we paid $17 for the chicken salad and $9 for the pesto hummus. So about normal restaurant pricing.
