    Italian fries

I'm such a huge fan of this locally owned and family run business. Everything about this place is top-notch not only as their food out of this world fresh but the customer service is always five star! Stopped in to pick up to go lunch for my husband and I. I showed up at lunchtime, but was greeted very quickly by a friendly hostess, who took my order then directed me to the takeout station to pay. I didn't know there was a separate take out station otherwise I would have gone there directly, but she kindly took my order and then directed me there afterwards. Once at the take out station, I confirmed my order by an equally pleasant server named Carrie. After taking care of payment I ran over to TJ Maxx to pick up an item and while I was standing in line, I received a text that my order was ready took less than 15 minutes at lunchtime pretty impressive. Got the food home and everything smelled and looked delicious. Well guess what it taste just as great! My husband had the meatball pizza made with pita bread, the Italian fries and the traditional baklava. He devoured it all! I had the Shrimp Bowl with no rice and the yogurt dill sauce. The shrimp were bog, juicy and grilled to perfection! The lettuce tomatoes and feta were fresh and tasty. YD sauce was creamy and the perfect dressing for my bowl. Whether you decide to dine in or take out, fresh excellent food & service are what you can expect every time at MGC! Love supporting, this business, but love the food even more!

Market Grille Cafe was an excellent choice for lunch recently. I ordered from their lunch special menu.. I had the pomegranate chicken wrap and chose Greek salad as my side. The service was good , the atmosphere is very nice, like a bistro. Apparently, they have music during the evenings and happy hour.. It is a popular place for all of these reasons. My lunch arrived quickly and was fresh and delicious . These lunch special menu items are in the $12 range.

Wow! You can tell the Moussaka is made from scratch! Totally authentic! Our server David was super friendly. Super chill vines inside. So glad we came back! I highly recommend!

    Cool place to hang out!

Its been awhile I've been here. I think last review was back in 2021 This place slightly changed. Food and atmosphere is still great. Our server Kenny is so hilarious, very cool guy. I had eggplant with meatless spaghetti. I have to say that filled me up and hit my spot :) And for the dessert. I had the seasonal pumpkin pie :) Thanks Kenny and Team!!

I'm so glad I finally came here. Drive by this spot all the time and never had a chance to eat here and let me tell you, it did NOT disappoint! Not to mention how adorable the inside is and how cute the patio is, but the menu is expansive. I'm already planning my next meal! Today I got the shrimp skewer entree and it was the best meal I've had in awhile! The grilled peach was a lovely surprise too. Highly recommend this place!!

We came to Market Grille Cafe for a late lunch on a Sunday. We were seated promptly and given menus right away. Our server was great...attentive, friendly, and checked in on us just the right amount without hovering. Service wise, no complaints at all. The dining area is spacious, which I really appreciated, and the tables are spaced far enough apart that you don't feel on top of other guests. They also have patio seating, which would be really nice when the weather warms up. Unfortunately, the day we went it was windy and overcast, so we stayed inside. The restroom was mostly clean and well stocked with toiletries, which is always appreciated. However, one of the bathrooms had a very bad leak around the toilet, and there was noticeable grime buildup because of it. That definitely took away from the overall cleanliness impression and should be addressed. What We Ordered: * Gyro Fries - $15 Very large portion and easily shareable between myself and my two girls. The gyro meat was delicious, with thick slices that were tender and not dried out. Plenty of tomatoes and red onion, which added freshness. I liked that the sauce was placed in one area...great for anyone who prefers to control how much sauce they eat. That said, I personally felt the fries could have used more dill yogurt sauce and feta. Still, overall a solid dish. * Kids Cheese Pizza (pita bread) - $7 Comes with a soft drink, which makes it a good value price wise. The pizza itself was okay....nothing bad, but nothing to rave about either. My little one wasn't really feeling it and didn't eat much. * Pomegranate Chicken Wrap - $17 This came with a side salad, which unfortunately needed more dressing as it was pretty dry. The spinach wrap itself was soft, fresh, and delicious, and the portion was large enough to easily share between two people. However... the pomegranate chicken was a huge disappointment unfortunately. It was completely bland no seasoning, no sweetness, no pomegranate flavor at all. When you're paying that price and ordering something specifically for the flavor profile, you expect it to deliver. Instead, it was just plain chicken, which made the dish feel like a missed opportunity. Honestly, it was sad for what could have been a standout item. Overall Service and atmosphere were strong, portions were generous, and some menu items definitely shine. That said, consistency in flavor especially on higher priced dishes....really matters. I'd come back for the gyro fries or to try other menu items, but I'd skip the pomegranate chicken unless it gets reworked on. When the Lunch Menu adds $1 for that chicken my mind thinks this is because it's really delicious. No not today!

My wife and I tried Market Grille Cafe on Durango and were honestly really impressed. The place has a nice atmosphere without feeling over the top. It's comfortable and just a good spot to sit down and enjoy a meal. The portions were great, especially for the price. You definitely won't leave hungry, and the prices are fair for what you get. The menu has a good mix of Greek, Italian, and Mediterranean food, and everything tasted fresh and full of flavor. I liked that they had the classic Mediterranean dishes but also some different items you don't see everywhere. Great waiter, however the staff were hanging out by the bar talking and unknowing to them this was a minor distraction from the experience.

They have done in options and take out area located near rear of restaurant. Tried the chicken pomegranate pita entree comes with basmati rice, Greek salad and hummus. Service was helpful with picking popular menu items, ambiance is tuscan decor lots of greenery. Plenty of parking available on the side and in the front.did was amazing, hearty servings except for the rice pro tip. Which felt more like a garnish to the dish.

I love ordering my favorite vegetarian meal, eggplant parmesan to go from this restaurant. On this particular day, I met a friend for lunch and we ate inside, which I deeply regret. It was loud and chaotic, and the waitress was all over the place mentally and physically. They had overworked and we could feel it by not getting everything we needed, having to wait awhile (10 mins) for the items we asked for like sugar for our tea. The food was fantastic as usual. Anything I've ever ordered from here it is delicious. I've just never experienced actually eating in the restaurant which I never want to do again. To go it will be for now on if I want to keep liking this place.

    Eggplant Parmesan was fantastic

Here visiting in Vegas. This was hands down one of the best lunches I have had in a long time. While sitting inside Market grille, I felt wrapped around authenticity. The menus had plenty of good selections and an option to add protein to a lot of the dishes which is great for vegetarians. I had pasta Giovanni. The fusili pasta was cooked perfectly and coated with a fresh pesto sauce that was vibrant, bright, and savory. It came with plenty of rosemary-olive oil pita bread. The pita was pillowy and all toasty with light sprinkles of course grain salt that burst with flavor while chewing. I had some of the eggplant parmesan and it was fantastic. Despite the eggplant being covered in this delightfully warm and well balanced marinara sauce, the well seasoned crust of the eggplant maintained a solid crispiness that I won't forget! Market left nothing to complain and deserves 5 stars. I absolutely look forward to trying other menu items when I return.

Traditional Gyro with Basmati Rice, Greek Salad,  Hummus & Pita Dill

My favorite restaurant in the northwest side of Las Vegas. It's located 7070 North Durango Drive Las Vegas, NV 89149 which is in the same strip mall as TJ Max and Smiths. It is right next to Pollo Loco. There are 3 parking spots next to the restaurant for pick up orders. If dining-in, there are parking spots right in front of the restaurant. The food has never changed which is great because everything simply tastes great. Today, I ordered the Traditional Gyro with balsamic rice, 4 pita bread, and side of humus. Food is flavorful and fresh. I've been coming to this restaurant ever since they were in their previous location and I've never been disappointed. I decided to use their online order and pick up my food. The staff are friendly and pleasant. Service is one of the best in town. The restaurant has a traditional Mediterranean feeling and very clean. I would recommend this restaurant.

Happy to have found a family-owned GREEK + ITALIAN restaurant. What a great combination and idea! Our starter was Greek Fries and let me tell you, they did not skimp on meat! Sauces made this so flavorful. We opted for Pomegranate chicken rice plate. Perfectly grilled and touch of sweet chicken. Rice, sauces and pita bread were phenomenal. We also tried the chicken gyro which was the perfect size and taste. Our bill totaled about $100 (to-go order not pictured). We were surprised at how fast the food came out, given the quality. We were told that there was live music on certain days that would fill the restaurant with customers, if we were ever interested in that. We also loved that we received a coupon for 15% off our next bill. You could tell that some customers are regulars here due to how they interact with the staff. Just a warm and friendly inviting place. Overall, loved this place and the people working here!

The food here was very good. I had the Mama Mia Chicken without pistachios. I could of used more of the balsamic sauce for my potatoes but otherwise great dish. I'll get it with rice next time. I had a glass of sparkling wine with an edible hibiscus flower in it to drink. It was refreshing. The lemon butter cake with raspberries was my favorite thing to eat for the night. Delicious! I took the one star off for our server. She did a good job of faking like she wanted to help us but the vibe from start seemed as though she didnt. She would dissapear for long times with us just waiting around for her. She wasnt very friendly, just more business. We probably would of got more food like appetizers to start but it seemed she was in a rush. She didnt rush us at all but was no where to be found when we were ready to go.

What to say about this place!!? It was more than a…read morerestaurant, it was a whole experience! From the moment we walked in and were greeted, with a Happy Birthday, to being seated in a secluded corner next to a little water feature that added extra ambiance! Our server immediately came over and greeted us with a bowl and warm flowery water to rinse our hands. He explained how the courses worked, and asked if we'd like cocktails- we had the white wine seasonal sangria and it was delicious! Fresh and fruity! The dancers came out before our first course and the music was really loud- like thumping my seat loud... probably the only thing I would have like done differently. The first course came out and it was shrimp scampi with homemade bread - the shrimp was enough to serve at least 3 people- and it was tasty with lots of flavor! The next course was a lentil soup , served in a bowl with no utensils, and we were told to drink out of the bowl. This was also very flavorful! It was filling so I only took a couple sips of mine to leave room for the food to come! The next course they brought out was a tower of Hummus Baba Ghannouj Moroccan style olives, cucumbers & carrots, along with crispy pita Next was the Beef Kabob served on a skewer stabbed in a pineapple with dry ice for a spectacular presentation. The meat was so tender you could cut it with the fork! It was so much food it could have fed our family of 4, but it was just me and my husband! The last savory food item was the Moroccan Couscous & Chicken Platter- this chicken was so tender it fell off the bone when I picked it up with my fork- it was deliciously flavorful with middle eastern spices!! And the couscous were cooked perfectly! Lastly, they brought out a desert along with tambourines and drums and bright lights and sang a happy birthday song to me! The cake was not my favorite- but it was cute with a design on top It was a Moroccan pastry stuffed with bananas, nuts & chocolate topped with powdered sugar & cinnamon. They served it along with a sweet hot delicious mint tea! The dancers came out about every 20-30 minutes and they were beautiful and interactive with the crowd, asking diners if they'd like to get up and belly dance with them.... It was very fun to watch! We had a wonderful time, we would definitely go back! Next time on an empty stomach, and with the ability to take our leftovers home!! Highly recommend!!!

The sounds, the smells, the atmosphere were all beautiful. We were seated and the first thing they do is bring over a beautiful basin to wash our hands in. They poured rosewater over our hands. Such a beautiful experience. They had a pre fixe menu and everything sounded so wonderful. We started with the shrimp, scampi and bread. The shrimp was buttery and garlicky and delicious. And the bread was a big fluffy loaf of delicious deliciously baked bread. We used the bread to sop up the juices from the scampi. Next team, the lentil soup. I've always loved lentil soup, and this was next level soup. So tasty so intriguing the different flavors. Next came the tower of dips and spreads. I've never been a fan of baba ghanoush. But I tried this one and now I am a fan. The baba ghanoush and the Greek yogurt and the hummus and the garlic spread. We're all so beautiful. And the pickled vegetables were amazing. I've never had a carrot pickled like that. It was so juicy and tasty. Next came our entrée of beef kebabs, and chicken. The presentation was beautiful. The kebabs were in a pineapple. The chicken was tender and juicy and succulent. The beef kebabs were tender and juicy. Then dessert came out. A beautiful banana dessert. And they even sing happy birthday to my boyfriend. The atmosphere and ambience are wonderful. They have dancers come out about every 30 minutes. It was amazing. I will be back.

This review is for Las Vegas Restaurant Week…read more This restaurant week set meal was truly amazing. It's been a long time since I've been wowed by a restaurant. I highly recommend everyone try their lunch. The price is incredibly reasonable, and the food quality is top-notch! For an appetizer, a whole fish entree, and a dessert, the Restaurant Week special is only 40 bucks! Even if you can't make it out to taste the food during Restaurant Week, their usual lunch prix fixe (with the same dishes) is only 45 bucks. Compared to the Mayfair Supper Club I just went to, this place handles their fish remarkably well. It perfectly retained the tenderness and juiciness of the fish, and the skin and edges had a bit of charred, fire-roasted aroma. It left me thinking with great satisfaction: this is exactly how fish should be prepared--simple! The octopus appetizer was also incredibly tender with absolutely no fishy taste. The kitchen's grilling technique and heat control are just exceptionally well-handled. I also quite liked their dessert, Greek yogurt and candied orange peel. I think using orange peel has an advantage: even though it's been candied, it still retains the natural bitterness of the peel, so it's not overly sweet. Speaking of olive oil, the olive oil at this place deserves a shout-out too. It has a very strong grassy aroma and a distinct, pleasant bitterness with a sweet aftertaste. We also added an order of their signature appetizer, which is thinly sliced zucchini and eggplant fried and stacked into a tower. It was seriously so crispy and delicious!!! And very eye-catching! This dish is great for sharing, though it did get a little greasy toward the end, since it is fried after all. This single appetizer costs a whopping 41 bucks! It's even more expensive than the Restaurant Week set menu! But it's super eye-catching and tastes great! Oh well, let them have my money.

I ended up having a soda, since they had no 0% Alcohol beer at the bar. It was a bit crowded because this event had so many attendees however, I really like the way that the restaurant presented. The fresh food was nice in the seafood is their signature item.

Opa, No!…read more Review: So The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill popped up practically in my backyard--right there next to Whole Foods on Sahara and Town Center. How could I not try it? Now, I'll be honest: my favorite Greek spot is Meráki, and when we go there, we're known for ordering--wait for it--a hamburger. Yes, a Greek hamburger! Meráki's is amazing, and turns out, The Great Greek's burger is also a flavor bomb. Whatever Greek seasoning magic they sprinkle on that meat patty gives it a char-grilled punch that hits the spot. We rounded out our takeout with a Greek salad--nothing groundbreaking, but fresh, crisp, and just what you'd expect. The Greek rice? Meh, a bit underwhelming--fine, but won't be stealing the show at any Greek wedding. Now, the spanakopita... oof. Imagine one giant puff pastry with not much spinach or feta flavor--it was a one-and-done situation. Service-wise, it's a fast-casual setup: order at the counter, grab a seat if you like, but it's not aiming for ambiance. Think more quick bite than Mediterranean getaway. Overall, would I return? Probably not when Meráki is just 10 minutes down the road. But if I'm craving that Greek burger and I'm in a pinch, well... I know where to go!

This review is for WAYNE! Customer service is a lost art…read morethese days and I've been here plenty. I love the food. I always get my salad with mixed schwarma and it hits everytime. This time Wayne just excelled the experience for me. He greeted every guest with "welcome to Parsleys Modern Mediterranean" and anything I asked, he gave true genuine hospitality. To the owner, please give this man a shout out. This is what pride, love, and care in one's position looks like!! I can't stand when I enter establishments and can hear employees talk about their day and drama. It's Extremely unprofessional. Like I said, customer service/hospitality is a lost art. (Unless you work at the Wynn) So thank you Wayne, for being hospitable and making my day with simple gestures which compelled me To write this review as I'm eating

We tried the steak shawarma bowls and the gentleman assisting us was fast and so friendly!…read more Note It is a casual dining experience. A few tables or bar window seats in a brightly lit room. You order at the counter and they add the toppings (like a sandwich shop) we like everything, so we had a really nice salad added to our bowl with all the veggies. We also ordered a 'up charge' item of baba gahnoosh, that comes with hot pita bread, that is so worth it. We also added a green and a red hot sauce, too, both were to die for. Yum! We had food for days! Leftovers heated well the next day. We had an accidental double charge but was handled right away. Will add to my must stop for us when in Vegas.

This is a small place with a window to order and pay. They have the menu showing on the front and you can see the staff preparing the food as it is glass. We decided to order stuffed grape leaves to share and a pita sandwich each. I ordered the beef and lamb one and added the sauce and feta cheese. There are a couple of tables in front where you can sit but they are first come first serve and shared with other businesses. The food came out relatively quick. The grape leaves were good just not as citrusy as I'm used to. The sandwich was big and a bit messy to eat so I used utensils. The flavor was really good.

Food here is good and priced reasonable (again for the strip). Order at the window and they call you when it is done. There are a few tables that you can eat at but not many. You get a lot of food here and this is one of the better places to eat in this area. Tried the hummus, beef and lamb pita, and some other Turkish pita that I forgot the name of. All very good. Highly recommend.
