Worst pharmacy ever! We had been using them for almost 10 years and for the majority they weee great but in the last couple years have completely messed up countless times with no accountability. They completely messed up all orders on a regular basis with people who have a serious needs for their medication's. If your meds are being delivered, they will not be there in time. You'll run out of meds because they're messing up, short you on meds and say they didn't is just one of the things recently. They also do not care or take any responsibility or apologize for any mistake they are horrible. I do not recommend them for anyone. read more

Literally the worst people on the planet. They nearly killed me by having their driver never seem to know where to deliver to and always mess things up. They then gaslight you and act like you're crazy. They never call to give a heads up they're coming So you basically need to be home from like 6-9 pm nonstop every day every week of every month on the off chance they want to deliver you meds. Because if you're not there when they randomly decide to show up, they might make you wait a week or more for your life saving medication if you're disabled and unable to make it down there. Everyone there is just straight up mean and terrible. Again, they will def gaslight you and blame you when they fuck things up. Another in a long line of scam pharmacies and doctors offices in the valley that are meant to take advantage of the most poor, destitute, and desperate in the city. The people who work there are LITERALLY some of the worst human beings to ever walk the earth. Gaslighting people with MEDICAL ISSUES should be a capital crime. I finally transferred everything to CVS (who are a terrible company, ethically, morally, and every other way) and no meds that cost me copays are free and meds I had to pay multiple dollars per pill for are free or next to free. Again, just the absolute scum of the earth at this place taking advantage of people sent there by the local government offices. No doubt there is a kickback scheme. Because that's the only reason I can think to send the most vulnerable people in society to go 10+ miles away to this dive. read more

UPDATE They're still late with my medications. They're often VERY late. I asked them why they don't prioritize the patients' deliveries whose meds are already late. They had some excuse about how many other patients they serve. (Don't ALL pharmacies serve a lot of patients?) The interesting thing is this - they DO serve a few facilities with many patients in them. My mother, only two months ago, entered one of the facilities they serve. And just last week, they had ALREADY messed up her medications and she had to be given the meds of another patient until hers could be straightened out. I just called them about my umpteenth late meds and they "offered" to transfer me to a different pharmacy. In other words, they are throwing me out because they fail so often that I MUST call and bother them. I'm always cordial. Unhappy, but cordial and treat them with respect. They don't have time for people who expect them to do their jobs correctly. And yes, right now I'm pretty upset. I was still cordial to the innocent worker on the phone. FAIR WARNING. You will be sorry if you give these people your prescriptions. read more

I love this pharmacy. I don't live close but still come here anyway.Was recommended by a doctor and have been coming ever since. I love the fact that they always have my daughters meds in stock. Brenda is always up front and eager to help me. She doesn't have to ask my birthday she knows me and my daughter's by heart. She makes my day because I always have a better day after chatting with her. I think I can say she is my friend. Feels like I have known her for ever. It was Saturday 11-23-2019 at 11:30am. I called to ask if I am able to pick a script up yet and the lady over the phone was very rude. She answered, "Market Pharmacy, what can I do for you?" Then said it again after I replied. Then she repeated "market pharmacy, what can I do for you?" She was very rude and hung the phone up on me when I ha'd from her rudeness. It was the brunette girl that usually works at prescription drop off. I will never use this pharmacy again after I fill my next script. She is a disrespectful cancer to Market Pharmacy and I know this because this isn't the first time that she has given me attitude. She's done it TWICE before this incident today. Both times I raised my tone on her then she turned nice because she realized how she was being rude. Update: the owner just called me and he could careless what she did. He said he was calling the cops on me because I went in upset because of this. He's not going to do anything to her nor obviously does he care about his customers or customer service. read more

I went to his other pharmacy that my provider recommended by the way it was a bad experience they were really rude. Then I talked to my provider again and told him my situation they referred me to market pharmacy my pal spoke to the pharmacy and the pharmacy call me right away to tell me that my order was ready and I told him that I was at work at the moment and then I might be able to pick it up before they close. I ended up forgetting later on that night I got a phone call from an unknown number saying that they have my medication and I'm like I didn't order no medication but he said he was market pharmacy and I was really surprised. Bit of context for this review: I am my grandmothers caretaker, and have been transitioning into taking care of her medical needs. I don't have all her medical information, and so I'm piecing together my grandmothers medical info with limited resources or information. I needed to get prescriptions for her. I called Market pharmacy to fill two prescriptions, and was helped by Anna. The info she had in her system was Grandma had no insurance for medication on file, or expired, but Anna advised me to call back to speak with a supervisor to help with possibly getting a discount. Here's where the absolute stellar review begins. Anna called back shortly, having gone above and beyond to help us. 1.She was able to find out Grandma has a county insurance that was renewed (I had no idea she had this, or it existed) 2. our copay is zero (thank God, cause with no work during Covid, we don't have much money) 3. Was able to provide me with the phone number and reference information I will need to contact her insurance and get more info 4. Set up delivery for her medicine so my at risk grandmother can stay home during the lockdown We can't thank you enough Anna. Thank you for all your help. read more

This message goes to the store owner, Dr Armin, Pharm. D; I came to Market Pharmacy on Saturday, July 17, 2021 at 10:15am. Please help me Dr Armin. I believe the store should open by 10 am. When I arrived at 10:15 am, the door was locked. I believe their was a pharmacy assistant - Brenda, pharmacy technician- Rosie, and Pharmacist- Ony. I was very disappointed do to this reason because I wanted my meds. However, they were about 3 days early. I fully corporated. Also, I inquired to Rosie, who I felt comfortable with, to let me please have the names of the pharmacist and pharmacy assistant when I called about 15 minutes later when I drove home. She seemed reluctant to give out the names because she kindly placed me on hold. Then, I asked if the pharmacy should still open at 10 am every Saturday. Rosie said yes and was very apologetic. I just wanted the names.....thank you Dr Armin, Pharm. D, for reading my message. I am the same person that almost lost my mind when Anna did not approve my medication for Depakote XR 2000 mg, 4 tabs of 500 mg each. Market Pharmacy on Reseda Blvd in Northridge, CA use to have a very rude female associate answering the phone. Curt, demeaning, acting like everything you ask or say is the stupidest thing she's ever heard. We complained. The associate was not replaced, but for a while she was on better behavior, so we considered the issue solved. We called this morning, 4/27/24, because they forgot one of our prescriptions in the last shipment (a usual occurrence at Market Pharmacy) and that same woman was rude, impatient, demeaning, correcting us rudely when we called a prescription by it's regular name and not the generic name. The namesof these meds are ridiculous anyway, but if you take a psych med and you're trying to communicate THEIR oversight (very politely, I might add), and THEY EMOTIONALLY TRAUMATIZE YOU over it, would that not be considered malpractice? If it isn't, it SHOULD BE. They need to vet people who work in this important field. WE ARE PATIENTS. read more

Thanks to a good pharmacist friend, I was able to get in touch with this pharmacy to fill my daughter's prescription last minute before they closed. All other mainstream pharmacies (cvs, Walgreens, rite aid) did not have the medication in stock, but Market Pharmacy did. The staff were sweet, friendly, and beyond helpful in filling the prescription. I would definitely use them again for future medication prescriptions! read more

Pros: free delivery Cons: being on the phone with them is a waste of my life. I was on hold for over 25 min just to have someone pick up & put me on hold again while getting nothing accomplished. I only got 1/2 of my prescriptions delivered & I couldn't even get a courtesy call to let me know why. So after noticing, I called and got nothing but wait times & no answers. After 25 min, I realized I will never use this pharmacy again. Btw I used to like this pharmacy so much that I was willing to pay full price for my medications rather than go to a pharmacy that is covered by my insurance. Never again. read more

I just came here to see what time they closed today, but I have been using this pharmacy for about 5 years now. Never had an issue, everyone always friendly and helpful. They have everything, even harder to find medications. Most big pharmacies will make you wait at least 1-2 days if they run out of something. Market Pharmacy can get it by 3pm. Eddy is a boss and (like other staff members) will personally guarantee your satisfaction on a daily basis in a totally customized way exclusive to your care in your needs. A perfect example; i'm writing this interview in my car after receiving a courtesy call about my meds being ready for pick up before they even opened, giving me the opportunity to pick them up at 10am on the dot, and joy some thoughts in the process. Thanks again Eddy! This is not the first time either. This pharmacy will go to bat for you with your insurance company for new medications, take the initiative to call back or fax your doctor, and other things that you just can't buy nowadays. I feel weird leaving a review for a pharmacy, but the service here prompted me to do so. My Doctor at Glendale Adventist clued me into this little gem. The location is nearly 10 minutes from my house and Dr's offices, yet I will continue to come back. The fill time is extremely fast, like 5 minutes, they remember your name and welcome you as you walk in the door, the Pharmacist always greets you and they have candy upfront for free. Market Pharmacy HUGELY failed today to get my prescription to me by delivery for BP medication and Pain control for the dental surgery I had done late last night at American Smiles. I was instructed by the 24/7 Nurse Advice Line to go to ER or Urgent Care as my symptoms were presenting (enormous head ache indicating the need for immediate medical attention). I chose to go to Sylmar Urgent Care, where I was handled professionally and quickly. I had to go in person the next day to get the medications I needed at first they couldn't even find them! After 15 minutes they found them in the box of someone who wasn't working. Don't they checK to see that all the delivery boxes are empty before the pharmacist leaves? Mind you my blood pressure was 225/94 the day before and I am navigating without blood pressure medicine to get my prescription they failed to deliver. As an update I have switched to Absolute Care Discount Pharmacy in San Fernando who always delivers on time when they say they will. Additionally Market had and was supposed to transfer the 5 prescriptions I had with them to Absolute but only transferred 3, I definitely made the right decision. read more

I've been ordering from here for over a year. The staff is very knowledgeable, I personally always ask for Patty just because I got used to her. Patty is never too busy to give me quality service, she's very professional and informative in regards to the questions that I have. If I ever have any problems with my prescriptions she works with my doctors and insurance to get my prescription covered. I also love the fact that they deliver to my door the same day. They are always late refill my parent's prescriptions even though they are prescribed for 3months (supply-refillable) by MD. Have to call them every single time n remind them. They always made mistakes between delivery n pick-up which is result in delay and my parents missed theirs medication for few days because they have been waiting for them to be delivered. Seems like they don't have notes or something on their computer system that determine delivery vs pick-up. If they do have it, why it's always failed? The prescriptions are just sitting at the pharmacy to be picked-up until we call and asking for it. It's okay if they only have one or two medications but they both have more than 10 medications.
