This was my first time at the ferry market. There are many delicious, looking and smelling foods inside, but this place was definitely the right choice! We ordered a Black Forest pizza! It was to die for! Italian fontina, mozzarella cheese, slow-roasted tomatoes, topped with arugula, prosciutto. Shaved parmesan, balsamic & evoo drizzle. The pizza maker took a lot of care in dressing the pizza and making sure there was plenty of prosciutto evenly spread out. The pizza was a nice size and could easily feed one person in our case two. The Black Forest pizza had prosciutto di parma arugula, shaved parmesan roasted plum tomatoes, fontina evoo, and balsamic reduction. I got to try a slice of the Breakfast Anytime pizza and that consisted of farm fresh egg, garlic potato, applewood smoked bacon mozzarella, fresh rosemary, and black cracked pepper. To say the pizzas were great is an understatement. I had the white and the mushroom truffle. The white has a nice balanced flavor with the cheeses complimenting each other greatly. I love the pizza here!! We tried the truffle mushroom, the pesto and the white pizza and added bit honey. I love the size of the pizza and the slices, they are so easy and fun to eat! I also love how thin the crust is so it's not too filling but it's also not really thin crust. My favorite was the truffle mushroom for sure but I'd love to go back and try a few others! OK, to be fair, fru-fru artisan pizza is not my thing. Having said that, I still have some significant issues here. This pizza looks way better than it is. Actually looks really good when you get a glimpse before you order. I got the sweet sausage, which is aptly named. Was really sweet. It had a spiral of what I would guess is ricotta cheese. No need for that on a pizza. Ever. And I've had overcooked pasta with more of a backbone than a slice of this pizza. And all of this for only $18 for a very small pizza. I get its New Hope so everything is more expensive but I expected more for that kind of money. I originally gave this review 2 stars but let them squeak by with a 3. This pizza place is located inside the little restaurant market across from the Logan Inn. My husband and I spent a weekend away from the kiddos at the Logan Inn and happened upon this local pizza counter. I can't believe we discovered this place. The staff was so helpful in suggesting the best pizzas for us. We ordered the spinach walnut pesto and the mushroom truffle. They were both great, but the pesto one was my favorite. A couple next to us ordered one with sausage and a margarita that both looked good too. Justin had taken over his mom's pizzeria, and believe me, he is just as great as she was. Megan was lovingly named "Pizza Witch" because she could cast a spell on the pizza and make you fall in love with it. I remember fondly the pizzas Hubby and I had when she was at the helm. Now those in the know will recall she had "the Warlock." The Warlock is none other than Justin and he is still bewitching us with the pizza magic. Visited New Hope and was not sure where to dine since there's so many options but we settled on Ferry Market as it posed many easy to go options. While my mom chose another vendor I chose Market Pizza and consider it the best choice! The staff was attentive and friendly for it being such a quick interaction. As for the pizza itself it was DELICIOUS, I got a plain white pie! They offer only personal pie for a size and it's perfect for sharing with 2 or taking some home. The ingredients were without a doubt fresh and quality. The pizza itself had a thin crust, incredible texture and being baked in a brick oven it came out with bubbly cheese (great portions btw) and toasted crust. It was phenomenal, even my mom said she regretted her choice and stole a bite of my pie. I wish there was more seating but it's a tight space and pretty popular on a warm summer Sunday! I visited with my wife and we ordered 2 pizzas. To my everlasting shame I accidentally poured garlic salt onto one of them (thinking it was parmesan). The owner stood aghast and immediately offered to remake the pizza. However, I insisted that I would soldier on (since it was quite clearly my fault). We sat down outside and began eating. Both pies were delicious (even the salted one). About half way thru our meal the owner appeared with a new pizza to replace the one I had ruined, stating that he wanted us to taste the pizza as it was intended. It was a very sweet gesture. He was right, the pizza was amazing, especially without a layer of garlic salt. We have always been big fans of this tiny spot in Stockton Market but are even more so now after the Covid 19 crisis. They were one of the first businesses to offer contactless curb side pickup even before it was mandated, keeping customers safe. They also offered bake at home options which ensure a crispy pizza whenever you want. Their pizza is so tasty and crispy, I'm so glad I don't have to do without during this time. We have never had a bad pie but our favorite is mushroom truffle. Note that they make the pies fresh so when things go back to normal and we can browse Stockton again, I recommend placing your order as soon as you arrive...this perfection takes about 20 mins to make. read more

This pizza oven is tucked into the Stockton Farmers Market on Bridge Street. The market is open just three days a week. Friday night has become a special time to stop on the way home and eat some of the best pizza along the Delaware River. The crust is thin and crisp with a taste of the fire. The toppings are full of flavor. I love the mushroom and truffle best currently but my companions tell me not to miss the margarita. Take your personal pie to any seat in the market, eat it happily.
