Disney souvenirs The…read moreitems here were not authentic Disney but they were much cheaper in price than the items in the parks or Disney Springs and they look just as good. Purchased some Disney shirts to wear to the parks and we were happy with our purchases without breaking the bank. They also sold Florida souvenirs here. There were many souvenir shops in Kissimmee and the merchandise were starting to look the same as we meandered from one store to another. Even their local WalMart stores had a few aisles dedicated to everything Disney! The store is huge and well stocked. The employee/owner was helpful and friendly. The clothing were nicely hung in their hangers or folded on display shelves and merchandise looked neatly stacked and placed in racks inside the store. They have every souvenir you can think of... mugs, hats, ponchos (for those random Florida thunderstorms), candy, sunglasses, keychains, snow globes, lots of knick knacks, etc. It was fun looking around but we just stuck to the shirts as we already had enough "stuff" at home and didn't need to add to the clutter. This is next to the recently re-engineered ride share drop off inside the Pointe Orlando complex. As a long time patron of Pointe Orlando it seems 'fish out of water' to have cars moving inside the dining and shopping venues but not in the garage. However I digress. Moondance is one of those cute tourist shops that has unusual items that you can easily tuck into your suitcase. Not as mainstream as Disney Springs but more of a bohemian flower child vibe. I think this place has options for even the most difficult to please teenagers. The store has a cornucopia of items which means a few minutes to take it all in, which makes for a perfect for a quick shopping fix.

I…read moredidn't come to look at that jewelry since I no longer collect it but had other things on my mind. In addition to Pandora jewelry Uptown jewelers carries Disney related jewelry and the famous Mickey Mouse watches. They've now expanded to include accessories by Coach, Dooney and Burke, and Vera Bradley. The purpose of this visit was two fold. First I wanted to get the 50th anniversary Mickey Mouse necklace by Betsey Johnson to have a Mickey in his 50th anniversary duds on my neck. The lady who helped was very nice and extremely helpful. This necklace is on a chain that comes down below my waist. She showed me how I could "double it up" so that it would hang better on my neck. I was sold on it! The second thing I was after was the new Lady and the Tramp Dooney and Burke collection that just debuted this week and is not available anywhere else! The collection has portraits of Lady and the Tramp throughout the entire print. At first I was going for a cross body bag and wallet to match but seeing how big the wallet was I opted for the satchel so that the wallet would fit. The wallet comes in a form of a wristlet with a detachable strap and will just fit into the bottom of the satchel. I worked with it a little and saw I could use it now and then as I switch out my purses. I arranged to have these three items shipped to my home since Disney is no longer offering package delivery to the front of the park or to your resort. The lady was again real nice and had me look over each satchel and wallet to see how much of the characters faces were covered by the hardware before making my selection. She then turned me over to a payment clerk for processing. When he rung me up I asked why was I being charged Florida state tax if it was being shipped to PA? I explained that I should only pay my state tax. He just said I had to pay the Florida tax regardless. He then asked me if I had the Chase Disney VISA card or was an annual passholder. I have that Chase card and with my purchase today by using that card I saved 10% off my entire purchase. Please note that if you are using the Chase Disney VISA card in the theme parks, in order to get the 10% off then your purchase must at least total $50.00 minimum after any other discounts. Also you must present the physical card. DO NOT PAY WITH YOUR MAGICBAND or you will not receive this credit. I was glad when he told me that because that really knocked the total down immensely. I was given a slip to contact merchandise services in two weeks if my parcel was not received. That purchase was made on a Friday and I received it via UPS the following Thurs!! Disney is very fast to ship and that helps a lot! Everything was wrapped carefully as if it had never been opened including the necklace. Warranty cards are included. This store is pretty pricey but it is an upscale shop and it is what one would expect. My only wished that Disney had an area where I could "bundle" all my shipping purchases together but since I was without a car on this trip there would not be any time for me to drive to a UPS store to have that done. I'm very happy with my purchases.

In the past, I've bought two Citizen watches from here. They also sell really nice sterling silver jewelry and gold jewelry featuring different Disney designs. Most recently, they have started selling Pandora charms. Pandora now has quite a few Disney designs, but they also sell Pandoras other charms here as well. Dooney and Bourke makes handbags with Disney designs. I first saw these appear around 2010, I think it was. The Disney designs do change about every 6 months. Currently, they have a Haunted Mansion design (the wallpaper theme), a design for It's A Small World, and a beautiful brown leather design with Tink and different Mickeys. They have the bags in all sizes from wristlets to large bags. The Dooney and Bourke prices are the same as you'd normally find on any Dooney and Bourke bag. I've purchases a couple of the bags and a wristlet in the past and like any D&B, they hold up very well. Vera Bradley is now making bags with Disney designs and you'll find those here. They have a good selection in various colour patterns. These bags are also in the same price range as you'd normally find any Vera Bradley bag. Other items they have here are things like scarves, hats, shoes, nice handbags w/out designer names, more upscale costume jewelry, and even Ray Ban sunglasses. Of course I can't possibly mention everything they sell in this gift shop, but if you are looking for a more upscale gift for yourself or someone else, this is definitely the place to come.

However, I have been desperate since Joann's shut down and Michael's doesn't have the same yarn selection. Finally I found some baby safe yarn for my next crochet project. There was only an aisle and a half, so I'm disappointed the selection was small. For fabrics, they do have a lot of good apparel textiles. I was able to find the perfect materials to make Kpop Demon Hunters Halloween costumes, plus put together Miras weapon. When I was in store they had sales on yarn and fabric, I found everything reasonably priced. My big complaint though is there only being two cashiers when lines are backed up. If the company is not going to use barcodes because of the ceo's extreme views (religious psychosis), then they should have more cashiers. Thank the universe they opened another line when a customer had 3 shopping carts full of merchandise, but it has always taken way too long whenever I visited.

Serendipitous. I found so many nice pictures to hang. I didn't know what to choose from. I didn't even let myself get pulled into the other aisles because I knew I would be there for hours! I did get a peek at the Valentine's Day selection. It was adorable. The value for what I purchased for my canvases was unreal. I can't wait to see what is on sale next week! I'll be a return customer that's for sure.
