Alongside these you've got a smattering of pharmacies, including a reasonable sized Boots, a cinema, mobile phone shops, cafes, an Argos, a post office, book shops and supermarkets. So you can certainly get a lot of what you need here. They've just started charging for parking but at 1 euro an hour it isn't too onerous and the Luas stops right outside!

I miss roches, it always reminded me of being a kid for some reason, anywho i like Debenhams too. The reason i like this paticular debenhams is that it is the only place in The Square that i can shop in some of the shops that i love for clothes. Debenhams has concessions for shops like oasis and warehouse and monsoon and you cant find individual shops for these stores in the square. The other great reason to visit debenhams is you get to look at all the (what i call) Fancy make up stands that you cant find in boots, things like Bobby Brown and Benefit, ones that i love but can find in your normal kind of shop, its for things like this that you totally need Debenhams!

As an international retailer, the shop is able to offer bigger, plusher brands to shoppers than it's previous incarnation as Roches Stores would have managed. Geared mostly to women (aren't all these shops?), Debenham's at The Square offers beauty, home and fashion choices from high street brands the likes of whom wouldn't normally be found in Tallaght's single shopping centre. That said, there's still an edge of chaos here, and my foray into the shoe department was on frought with danger: winter boots scattered on the floor, no stock other than what was on the racks, and if I was looking for a size 8 shoe (er, for... a friend) I'm out of luck. Sorry 'bout dat. I'll take Debenham's presence here as a sign of better things to come, and not take it too personally that those better things aren't here yet.

There's a great mixture between casual and professional, and a selection of fancier clothes for nights out and special occasions. Awear also offers a decent selection of accessories. They have regular sales as well, in which you can always pick up a bargain. It's one shop in which I never have trouble finding something great to wear. Their tops and dresses in particular are excellent. Up until recently, they didn't offer student discounts, but I believe that this is also changing. This is good, as the shop is probably most suited to women in their late teens and early twenties.

It used to be in a small shop in the middle of Naas town but it moved to what used to be a pub. The interior in there is unreal. A huge chandelier, wooden floors, decadent wallpapering. I am a tad biased as my best mate manages the place but the clothes she has are something that you just can't get anywhere else. They go to the fashion shows in London and buy straight from the source. The girls that work there are model material themselves but thankfully they are so down to earth and only to happy to dress you in what suits. It ain't cheap that's for sure, but they do have amazing sales quite often, sometimes up to 50%+ off.

I'd just had an experience in another boutique down the road so was expecting a similar frosty level of customer service, well I was shocked when the lady was so nice that even when I left at the end without a purchase that she was thanking me for coming in. I'll definitely be back, stock is refreshed fortnightly. They go for some out there bright colours here but the quality of the dresses are very good. Very similar brands are stocked here as some other botiques but I thought the range was much better. This may be because they have so much stock. This was my only negative on this shop. There's just so many dresses packed in and it is quite a dark shop it's hard to pick out what you really want. On the other side of this though, you can take as much as you want into the dressing room and there's plenty of light outside the rooms, albeit the changing area itself is a bit small. The sizes are consistent and true to normal sizes and for the most part are 8-16 rather than S-P. The accessories range is great, including fascinators and bags.
