I was never a next fan until the store relocated to st stephens shopping centre but now I seem to find whatever I am looking for here. The changing rooms are huge with great service from the sales staff. I will never doubt next again. Its great to have a decent sized store in Hull for a change instead of having to go to another city.

The alcohol section is pretty good with a decent selection including some nice red wines and port. The clothing ranges are quite good although the prices are a little high - wait for the sales when they really slash the prices. Their own brand lingerie is of a high quality and very feminine and matches any of the major name brands. The staff are very good, knowledgeable and friendly. There is also a nice cafe situated on the first floor which is often very busy due to it being excellent. Toilets, including disabled and baby changing facilities are also available on the first floor. There is an escalator and a lift to the first floor.

This is a decent sized Primark store with access from two sides of Freshney place. It's all on one level and focuses on ladieswear, with smaller kids and mens departments and a very limited selection of homewares. The branch in Doncaster seems to be about 3 times the size, but if you're local to Grimsby then this is a good cheap place for budget clothes.

Although, this store can look a little like a jumble sale - if you on a budget, it's well worth a rummage - i picked up a pair of jeans for £3 last year and a pair of work trousers for a mere £1!! This shop is also ideal to pick up a few holiday items on a budgtet - granted you cant get this seasons maxi dress but to be fair you can jazs anything up these days to bring it up to date!

The main down side is that the price isn't actually that cheap! It's definitely at the lower end of the scale, but you can often find things for less. Sale prices are good though, or special offers.
