We have also ordered the sushi many times. The fish is always fresh. And while the rice has been inconsistent, for the price we are quite pleased. This is a great everyday place.

The chicken shwarma is tasty but the kafta is fantastic. There is plenty of bread and pickled vegetables included. I always get a side of tabouleh, it's perfect, with not too much cracked wheat.

We came here after having been turned away by an Indonesian restaurant that was "full for the night". We are so glad that fate brought us here instead of that Indonesian restaurant!! What were we even thinking anyway -- forget the Indonesian food, get the local specialities!! Ordered the schnitzel as well as the meatballs and both were executed perfectly. Schnitzel was hot and crispy on the outside and tender on the inside -- not overly salty either. Meatballs were juicy and packed with flavor from the minced onions that they had mixed in. The beer (we ordered a Pilsner) was the best that we had tried in all of the Berlin and Dresden restaurants that we visited. I believe it is from some small private brewery affiliated with the restaurant somehow. Whatever they are doing, they are doing it right, so definitely order the house beer. Super cozy seating (you'll probably be sharing a table with other guests) and packed all night long but amazing vibes and casual comfort food. Would come back if I ever visit Berlin again!

Don't fall for the nice pictures!! Another point is the absolut chaotic biking system they have on hand written paper! Way too small place for the amount of people they would like to put and a very exact deadline of two hours after the booked time to finish, pay and leave! In our case our booked table for 7pm was free ten minutes later, after eating they forgot our second sake order which took them twenty minutes(!), and twenty to 9pm he already asked us to pay! Not cool!

Came here on a Thursday at ~11am (to avoid the lunch rush) and it was jam packed with students and working professionals. Luckily the staff here are super efficient yet patient with customers. It's self-service. You order at the counter and they'll call out your number. Many claimed their seats before ordering, which id recommend as there are only ~15 tables inside. Once I ordered, food was ready in ~5min. And it was huge! A fresh flatbread slathered with a delicious garlic sauce and stuffed with warm juicy chicken kebab sliced fresh off the spit and fresh salad mix. The thought of this kebab sandwhich is making me drool. The toppings were almost falling out because of how much they stuffed in. Probably one of the best bites I had in Berlin! And for €8, it was a steal! When I went it was not crowded and typical. The staff mentioned it's usually a 40-60 min wait with lines out the door.
