Will not be coming back…read more
1. Made a reservation online, and tried to pay for it, but the site was broken and did not accept payment due to the merchant's problem. I took multiple screenshots of this, but the guys still refused to honor the discount.
2. Reserved regular skis, which are said to be overall a good choice for beginners. As a conservative slow skier, I always rent just a regular ski. They insisted on giving me a premium ski saying that regular skis do not provide control (regardless of what their website claims). I rented excellent regular skis at Intersport in other locations, so I know for a fact they have what I need, but I was just exhausted trying to deal with these guys.
3. They insisted on giving me boots that are .5-1 size bigger than what I normally wear, and tried to sell me a 30 euro inside liner to get them to fit well, despite me asking for a smaller boot.
4. I had a card for a locker rental from my hotel, but they still said I had to pay to leave my boots in a locker.
All in all, I paid about 30 euro/day more than what their website quote was. The entire experience was so draining, I am never coming back. There are plenty of rental shops around the gondola. My friends went to either Sport 2000 or Euro 2000, or something like that, and we much more satisfied.
I am going to another shop next weekend.
