Horrible. They didn't even clean my 1 bedroom & 1 bathroom. It looks the exact same. All they did was organize the bathroom under the sink and didn't even put things back where they belonged. They LOST the lock to our garage door which keeps the dogs out of the house. Then they told us we should have them clean our house once or twice a month LOL if they actually cleaned then I would take them up on that offer but NOPE. I'm very disappointed that NOTHING was cleaned. I wonder what they were doing for 1 1/2 HOURS. Don't waste your time & money. Apparently the owner "cleaned" our place. My sister watched them hit down our light strings in the bathroom and didn't bother putting them back up, she watches them "clean" the tub but didn't do the top of the tile so my sister finished cleaning it up. They will "clean" your fan but leave dust on your floor & wont vacuum it up. They won't clean the frame of your window & when they "dust" your window screen, it actually means they hit it & make it all fall on the floor. From what my sister told me they "finished cleaning" the room & bathroom in 45 minutes, asked for their money & tried to leave, even though we were paying them for an Hour & Half ($75) This was horrible service but I guess you get what you pay for. read more

I thought the cleaning was just okay. I paid extra for a deep cleaning and they did just a regular clean. They didn't dust on upper areas of any of the rooms so there's still dust and cobwebs and all the upper areas of all the rooms. One thing is They just swept , not vacuumed at all which we all know just sweeping doesn't pick up everything. I had a 2 bed 2 bath for 6 hours of deep cleaning in turn sending two people equated to 3hours. One of my rooms was completely empty nothing in it to work around and it still doesn't look clean. I have to remove the floor and they didn't bother cleaning the closet that was empty too.And doing an empty room and two bathrooms took almost half the time of 3 hours. The other room is super small and barely anything needed to be done. They told me okay we can only focus on kitchen and for living room just light dusting and floors only (which is sweeping and mopping ) . The cabinets were wiped down but not thorough and again no dusting upper areas. They didn't clean the microwave and that usually even included in my basic cleaning. I felt like the lady spent a lot of time wiping the sink and counters over and over again because it was the easiest level and letting time go by wiping over and over again the same area right at her level. Nothing higher in the kitchen then her level was cleaned and the bottom areas aren't that clean either . The good thing I can say is that the counter and appliances are very clean. Before moving into a new condo, we had it cleaned by Marlenes Cleaning Service. We scheduled it for a Friday from 10am to 12pm, but it was completed from 10:30 to 12:30. I am overall satisfied with the service. Prior to the cleaning, I would have not felt comfortable moving into the condo. But the two ladies did a good job with the bathroom and kitchen. Everything was well sanitized. Also, they did a really good job with cleaning the windows. I strongly suggest you get a cleaning prior to moving into any new home. We just had a cleaning with Marlenes Cleaning Service and I'd rate it an honest A-. They did a solid job considering a 2 hour window with two cleaners. Scheduling was convenient and we were able to book for a Saturday prime time. The cleaners came with their own supplies, vacuum and were courteous. The home cleaning had some areas that required more of a deep clean and we're happy with the results. Pros: - They get right down to business and start cleaning right away - Professional, don't talk much or waste time - Hard working, takes feedback well and will go over more in-depth if it's a troublesome area - Prices aren't the cheapest, but affordable. Cons: - Not Much to complain about. Nice people but they do not do a good job at all. They do a rushed and surface cleaning even with 3 people, come late, and then want to meet you outside the building so you don't check their work? To be fair, they did fix a few things I asked them to after seeing how they did but I found plenty more things after they left and I have a feeling they never actually disinfected the cabinets I asked for. They did clean the microwave though, which I specifically said in advance that I do not need cleaned. Disappointed in the cleaning work they do, won't hire them again. read more

Very disappointed. My mother ordered a 4 hour deep clean service for me as a welcome home gift after a long vacation. I walked into my house and thought that the cleaners had not come yet. All they did was tidy up a little and call it a day. The guy from Marlene's cleaning service who called me after my mother complained was super argumentative and made a bunch of excuses. He actually said he and his team could have done a better job if my house was nicer. Seriously!!! So they only clean your house if it's already clean? Let me start off by saying they were three hours late to my scheduled appointment. I was promise three people and only two showed up. When they got here they only were at my place for and 1 1/2 hours before they decided they had to leave. Came back a couple of days later and they were here for 2 hrs with three people And didn't clean my down stair bathroom. House does not smell like it's been cleaned. They just wanted to mop around my area rug and not mop the entire floor. Partial baseboards cleaned and kitchen cabinets not wiped down. First: I have cerebral palsy and a compromised immune system, even being fully vaccinated I am still at risk. I loved that they all showed up with masks and worn correctly. Second: I initially asked for a deep cleaning of the kitchen and both bathrooms with reoccurring services every other week: we recently kicked someone out who completely trashed our kitchen and our 1 1/2 bathrooms ; we didn't realize how bad the downstairs bathroom was until we finally opened the door when they arrived. Given the situation, we didn't expect the job to be completely done with one visit however, we were happily surprised at how much was accomplished with this first visit ( the bathrooms were both finished) , so much so that we scheduled them to come back next week and again the week after next since we trust them to completely finish this job. Very Disappointed, Paul and a woman came and spent an hour in my 2 bedroom, 2 bath apt. Of which both bedrooms and one bath were closed off due to some construction. So all they had to clean was the kitchen, dinning area, front room and bath. The kitchen floor was spot mopped, as there are sticky spots by the frig. Sinks were not cleaned, appliances not wiped down. Base boards are Not clean even though he said they cleaned them. Table and book shelf in hall were not even dusted off. I called him back to mop the bathroom floor. Paid full price and was told the price would go up another $15 when the other bathroom and 2 bedrooms would be open. The deal was for a two bedroom two bath apartment, now he wants more money to add the original 2 bedrooms. I know these pictures show how dirty my house is, but then that's why I hired a house cleaner!! I am 76 yrs old and have cancer, I just can't clean house any more, I need help. But we will not use Marlene's cleaning service again. read more
