There have been many instances in which I have overheard conversations within the Veterans Affairs office and/or the Academic Advisors office in which students were spoken down to, especially veterans. Parking on Cameron is also far, few, and in-between. There seems to be more students and faculty than there are parking spaces. Your only hope of obtaining one would be to schedule yourself for an early morning class, or just arrive very early and sit and wait for a space. One upside would be the availability and cleanliness of the library. At any given time until approximately 11p, you're able to occupy the library for any reason; study sessions, reading, homework, printing, etc. Several of the buildings are being remodeled currently however updating functionality of the classroom seems to be last on the schools priority list. Burch Hall (Math facility) has extremely small desks in many of the classes which make it difficult to have your book open and take notes simultaneously. An update is very much needed and Cameron should take notes from other Universities across country.

My son has been going to Mahnasium Norman for about 7 years. He says he wants to keep going. The main reason is he can receive the quality of great service. According to my son, the math teachers in school are always rushing when he asks questions. Therefore, he is hesitant to ask anymore questions even though he hasn't fully understood. Whereas, the staff at Mathnasium are very patient and professional in teaching. My son feels comfortable asking questions and they break down the problems until he fully understands. Some children sometimes need extra steps to understand math, however, not all educators and tutors understand that. I personally think that is the biggest problem for many children. Mathnasium is a center for all children who are advanced or behind. I am so grateful to the center. My son is taking an advanced math and keeping good grades.
