Wow! I am so impressed with Marquee Meals To Go's quality and customer service. I've been interested in trying a meal prep/delivery service for awhile now, but was always hesitant because I wasn't sure if the food would actually be good and/or filling. Specifically, I was worried that the food would be either too bland or way too salty/flavored and that it would just feel like I was eating leftovers everyday. My boyfriend and I have made a bad habit of always eating out since cooking for two usually costs the same in groceries as eating out does. To break our rut for our wallets and our diets, we decided to look into meal delivery options. I found Marquee Meals To Go on Yelp!, their great reviews and affordable pricing (w/ smaller portion option and discount on bulk order) sold me. I also love that they have an expansive menu of main dishes and sides that you can customize. Additionally, they have some meals that are "ready to go" in case you don't have the time to customize your selections. I placed my order via text and quickly received a response to coordinate my delivery, the process was seamless! On the day of the delivery Jake and Carolina were very communicative (even though it was a holiday/New Year's Eve) and made an effort to make sure that they'd arrive at a time that was most convenient for me. The meals are so much better than I ever imagined a meal delivery/prep service would offer! I ordered 14 meals in a variety of combinations so that my boyfriend and I could try it all, so far everything has been delicious! I'm terrible at eating leftovers, but these meals are far from that. You can definitely tell just within the 2-3 minutes that you microwave them, they smell amazing! So far my favorites are the Steak Fajitas, Hearty and Healthy, Southern Comfort, Balsamic Chicken, and the Italian Spin (basically everything lol). Each entree and side is flavorful without being too salty or sweet, definitely tastes like a home cooked meal. I ordered the 3.5 oz protein portion and it is perfect for lunch or a light dinner, my boyfriend agrees as well and he has a much larger appetite than I do. Started ordering Marquee meals from Carolina 4 months ago because I have a new baby and it's hard to cook. They deliver and the food its really yummy. I take one for lunch everyday and saves me from having to go out and get food. Initially I just wanted yummy food delivered and packed. Inadvertently, I've lost 10 pounds along the way. We've ordered with this company a few times and are very pleased all around. I love the varieties and different combinations you can create with the sides and protein. We order the smaller portion and it is a perfect size for a lunch with a side of fruit. Very budget friendly as well. I would recommend the meatballs with the squash pasta and asparagus. I just placed my first order with Marquee Meals To Go last week after finding them on Yelp. I was shocked at how affordable they were but was a little hesitant because my last experience with a meal prep company wasn't well. Friday I finally placed my order online which was very easy and my food was delivered by Sunday(they communicated very well with delivering the food). I order 6 days worth of food ranging from shrimp, fish, chicken, and turkey and everything I had so far has been great! The only thing I'm mad at myself about it not getting the bigger portion size which I definitely will next order. I will be placing my 2nd order with them tomorrow for next week & I couldn't be any more happier. I even got my mom on board as we are both trying to lose weight and eat healthier. There are many reasons why people decide to use a meal prep company, in the past I used a different company to help me maintain a healthy eating habit. While the food was healthy it did not taste well at all and with that in mind I was NOT expecting MARQUEE MEALS to taste as good as it does. There are plenty of meal combinations to select from, so I decided to leave it at random. I was extremely pleased with the results.
