Over, what seemed to be an eternity, actually a month or so I received outstanding treatments. My foot issue was caused from cancer treatments, although an unusual and unpredictable side/effect from cancer Dr Craig addressed my issues and even provided us with his personal cell number in case he needed to meet us on Christmas Day! I visited Midstate in late July complaining about forefoot pain I had been experiencing for over 6…read moremonths. The doctor didn't take x-rays or an MRI. Based upon a physical examination, he diagnosed me w/ a joint capsule injury. My treatment included a prescription for anti-inflammatory and over a dozen ultrasound therapy sessions. Midstate has a small-office feel, and the staff were very kind. I just wasn't seeing results. After 5 weeks of treatment with worsening symptoms, I visited Cortese Foot & Ankle Clinic. While both podiatrists performed a gait analysis, Cortese took x-rays and fitted me with orthotics right away. I experienced almost immediate relief from the orthotics.
