Kat is truly a child/baby whisperer and was able to soothe my 3 week old to get her to cooperate for pictures and got my shy toddler to smile for photos! THE ODDS ARE AGAINST the apex storybook discovery tales of rarities like JLAW, Michele Pfeiffer, Charlize Theron etc. so if you expect that to be your way in...it's not reality. I get cast and work in these markets: NYC (Netflix movies), Atlanta (Marvel/ABC), and Mid-Atlantic (Apple TV). I am new to the business (three years in) but I have been building a resume over time and there is no way I am going to compromise because I take my career seriously. There is no slack given in a highly competitive industry with a dearth of roles and a surplus of talent. I get work in commercials, major motion pictures, network tv shows because of her. Fact! The first session went ok though it took longer than I expected to receive the order. Kristen did the second session, and we sent her our order with the check... and then did not receive our photos. After a month went by I spent well over a month trying to reach her through email, phone messages, and through her website. She never bothered to respond to any of my attempts to contact her, so effectively Kristen has pocketed money that she hasn't earned for three photo sessions. Working with Kristen is a huge waste of money and effort, you are better off with a more professional photographer.

If I had taken those pictures I would've deleted them, and why a professional photographer would give those to a client boggles the mind. When I expressed concern to her she (1) asked me to send pictures if him with a normal smile and (2) offered to edit 5 more images at an additional cost if $25. I saw the additional unedited images that I could choose to have edited for an additional cost and several were much better than the ones with the fake smile. However, I refuse to spend extra money. She should have taken better pictures to begin with and/or chosen her best photos to edit and present to the client.
