Found a used Truck at Marshall and Flew in from San Diego. Ended up buying the truck and driving back to San Diego. Dealt with Mike and Emily, but met a few others in the process. Great People to Deal with. If you've bought vehicles a few times, you'll know what I mean. Outstanding customer relations top to bottom. Transaction was taken care of very quickly with tremendous support from the dealership in allowing full inspection and transparency through the whole process. Master Mechanics were also available, discussing the vehicle while she was on the rack for full inspection. The vehicle has had zero issues driving from Texas to the West Coast, then back to AZ for a river trip, followed by another trip to a OHV park. Marshall Ford, provides solid vehicles at great value. Coming from the West Coast, this dealership was under more scrutiny just from my effort to get there. I've flown to dealerships in Seattle, Portland and Dallas, looking for a truck, with no luck, some garbage out there, Marshall Ford, tip my hat to you. They are nothing but a scam!! We called and got a quote for parts and time. After scheduling an appointment and being told they would be able to have us out the same day. They proceeded to call us 10 minutes after drop off and claim to not have parts. Then they say the original quote was wrong and the parts they had would cost even more or we could wait days for parts. Knowing that we where stuck there waiting. Then the lady proceeded to give me attitude for watching them take my car off the lift. She also had the mechanic tell us how bad we needed our car fixed as a last ditch effort to scam us. Also we called the Ford in longview and they quoted about half the price. DONT GO HERE PEOPLE read more

Visiting a car dealership probably raises my blood pressure more than any other single event. Since my wife wanted a new vehicle, we went shopping. At the dealership "down the road" they tried to pull some fast talking math, which didn't add up. This was what I expected from a car lot. We left, as I will not tolerate it. We visited with Sam at Marshall Ford. Of course I was resistant at first. It turned out we got a great value and a great ride for my wife. I expressed an interest in a truck and looked at a few. I expected Sam to call and badger me. He did not. I saw a pattern of the opposite of the high pressure liars you expect to encounter. We dropped by randomly one weekend and insisted on Sam helping us. I ended up with what I think is the best truck I ever owned. As for the haggling stuff I hate, I only asked a small amount off and got it. They are in business to make money. As long as I got a great value for what I pay, I am happy. I don't have to get a steal. I am thoroughly happy and our subsequent vehicles will be from Sam. A small consideration, if you have DV tags. It may take a while longer. They did update the temp tag to a DV temp tag with my final tag number in the interim, which was nice. The only 2 things preventing 5 stars: 1) The finance guy was extremely rude and pressuring when we got my wife's vehicle. I did not need financing for my truck, but he tried to get me to finance with them and was still extremely rude and pressuring. 2) When you agree to let Ford give your information to partners, they sell your info immediately. I have gotten more calls and emails than I imagined about car warranty and such. I thought Ford would be more reputable in this respect. You should not sign the paper to add you to their spam list, even if you lose the deal. The calls and emails are of such volume it is a daily disruption. The unsubscribe option does not work either. You will still get calls and emails. Had I known this in advance, I would have walked on the deal regardless of how much I liked the truck. read more

Brought wife's car in for service March 25th. Oil and filter change and tire rotation. Notice several days later tires and rims didn't look right. Auto has only 18450 miles on the odometer. Tires looked more like 50000 miles wear. Plus tires were the wrong brand. Took auto the dealership, was told that factory tires last maybe 30000 miles. Wasn't much they said they could do. I have used this dealership for many years for both sales and service for our Lincolns. They are very professional and take good care of us. Service department is sometimes not as fast as I would like but this is due to the fact that they are very busy and it is the only Lincoln dealership within a 60 mile radius. We drove 45 minutes to visit this dealership- when I called to see if the car we were interested in was still there I was advised that even though they close at 7, they take their last customer at 6. After getting over there, test driving the car and trying to agree on a price we were told by the salesman "we could sell the car at auction for that price" meaning why waste their time on us. I will never return to this dealership- you don't treat potential customers that way. We drove back to shreveport and found a better car with a better price and much better customer service.
