During the snow storm I placed a pick up order at the Walmart in Petoskey. I just moved here the…read moreday before and had no groceries. I did not realize how bad it was outside and had already placed a pick up order otherwise I would have just gone in myself. I believe the pickup attendant that assisted that day was named Al. He did an awesome job handing all the pick up orders by himself (there were many cars in the pick up area). Al literally climbed through mounds of snow dragging the cart through and withstanding the crazy winds. Not once did he complain. He was very polite and kind given the circumstances and being short staffed. Al deserves a raise, additional PTO, and recognition. I wish I had cash for him at the time!

Filled out a silly paper and received a pink paper along with the receipt for purchase. When I went to pick the chair up they asked for the pink paper. I didn't have it with me but showed them a photo of the Home Depot credit card transaction. She said she couldn't release the chair to me because I didn't have the receipt. I said but you will today. The cashier from the night before remembered me and vouched for me. Janet was very rude. I told her that I'm a great customer and not to pi$$ me off. She huffed. The chair didn't fit in my vehicle so we left to get a bigger truck. Upon arrival I told them that I was back. They called for yet another manager who was also very sour. The ladies from the floor loaded my chair while I waited what seemed like forever for my receipt. The clerk handed the receipt as the manager walked away. I stopped her and said. Your welcome. She said what. I said you didn't even say thank you for my $650 purchase. She said are you upset about something? I said you'll get my review. Might I add the employees don't look very happy and no one even looked up to acknowledge our presence. This was the second day at the store. I went to another store and purchased $1200. How excited I was to have a new store where I just purchased a new home to furnish. I will not be back or purchase from this store in Petoskey, MI location

Give me a choice and low pricing, I'm ecstatic. Hard to believe there are some that are not familiar with this company. It's a great place for off brand merchandise, but you'll also find savings on the popular items. They offer a little of everything from foodstuffs to clothing, tools to furniture. All the friendly faces make it a trip to look forward to. It didn't take long for us to identify with a few folks here, not to mention how quickly they've taken to us.
