I can't figure what's going on with Yelp. I've reviewed this fairly lousy shopping centre a few…read moretimes on Yelp before. I've also added quite a lot of photos showing inside the centre. Yet they've gone. Disappeared. The same goes for the reviews and photos I've done on Costa Coffee Armagh Road Newry. So I'm not going to bother to re do work that I've already done. If I take the time, and it's my time after all, to review places several times and also add quite a few photos then the least Yelp can do is make sure they don't lose the reviews. It simply isn't good enough.

This is my 499th 'First' review…read more Almost all my reviews have focussed on restaurants and cafes - it is unusual for me to review a supermarket chain as I tend to food shop, mostly in M&S, but I've noted that Dunnes food has more and more focused on small Irish producers like unique cheese manufacturers, makers of crap and artificial muck free pure 100% apple syrup, jams, marinades and chilli sauces. A lot of these products are also organic. They also have a great range of specialist Italian and Spanish meats and continental cheeses including some really top notch cheeses. All of these small producer products are close to M&S quality and price (although they've a very long way to go to catch the fabulous diverse range of M&S Food). They do cater for the other end of the market with many Dunnes own brands at great value (like M&S) and for a long time now they've offered a 20% generous food discount scheme. I've no doubt the company is not a generous wage payer especially to the check-out staff but they aren't alone and when politicians introduce minimum wages the minimum becomes a maximum to capitalism. I'd be happier to see living wages legislated for to redress the growing imbalance between the lowest and highest paid to reduce tax payer subsidies to multi national conglomerates but more importantly to maintain a cohesive society with a strong fabric rather than a Trumpian or Putin-esque dystopia.

This is a review of tonymcdonnell.com…read more Shockingly poor company to do business with. Images on website did not match goods they tried to ship. Ignored all of my emails and shipped goods regardless. Failed to update website photos after I pointed out their error. Only comms was via Paypal when I disputed the transaction. Briefest of responses with no names provided. No sense of urgency or effort on their part. I had to drive the whole thing through PayPal and the seller's own couriers to eventually get a refund several weeks after having the money taken out of my account.
