I've been to this location many times and still given them the benefit of the doubt but no more. My fiancée and his friend are both veterans (one is even a Purple Heart recipient) and they were both told that they would not be given a military discount because they were not active duty. When I asked about their posted sign in the window offering a military discount I was told to "mind my own purchase". Hmm. I guess the 6'4" burly man was buying himself a sweater dress. First thing when you walk in you are blasted with fresh, and I mean, FRESH cut flowers and live plants. Really well presented and a very nice selection. What a way to start off... You then turn right and KABLAM the bakery.... Their bakery is not huge but is very tight... their "display case" is clean and dressed in what equals a tux with very respectable sweets... hold up... that's not all... look... a BIG cooler with all kinds of stuff to make your diabetes spike... ummmmm ummmmm NICE! The next thing that caught me was their produce... I'm an Apple guy... I'm pretty sure I was Jonny Apple Seed in a former life... and their apples here looked like any of them could have been fed to Snow White they are sooo gosh darn shinny (make a wish). Crystal at Mandino's was very nice and helpful. I told her what I was looking for and Mandino's created an absolutely beautiful arrangement that was within my budget.
