Where to begin... I had been suffering with terrible headaches for a few years. My doctor would…read moreprescribe muscle relaxers, anti inflammatory pills etc.. to no avail. After much research and a recommendation, I was referred to Dr. Poirier. I was unsure of chiro. but willing to try anything. I was taking about 8 Tylenol a day just to be able to be productive. I had x-rays taken (on site) and went back the following week for a treatment plan based on what my specific needs were. I was relieved to find out that I could be helped if I followed the plan and was pro active. Dr. Poirier was very empathetic (even though I am sure he has heard the same complaint a hundred times) I felt that he was hearing it for the first time. Within 8 weeks I was down to ZERO Tylenol and my body all of sudden carried itself in a different way. My friend even commented how my posture had changed and she is an occupational therapist. I had to relearn how to sleep at night, which stretches are good for me to do 3 times a week (these pro active tips and tricks are given to you when your are given your treatment plan). I am so grateful because I feel like I am 10 years younger. I don't feel the snap, crackle and pop every time I turn my neck. I don't wake up with a headache anymore and last but not least, I walk around like I used when I was 25 (straight and no pain). Thank you Dr. Poirier and the team.
