It is handy in an emergency as open 8am-10pm everyday however the prices are very expensive and you can pay double if not triple compared to supermarkets prices, ok if it was branded products but ost are cheap labels such as happy shopper. The staff are not that friendly or helpful as are quite young so are often busy chatting to friends or on their phone texting whilst serving you. I only use in emergencies.

Greetings cards magazines books and numerous items of stationery. Gifts. Soft drinks. Cigarettes & Tobacco. All this and more in one place. Helpful, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Absolutely top notch. Unfortunately after over 80 years of loyal service to the community this shop is closing it's doors. Yet another victim of increased competition from supermarkets and the general economic environment that prevails at the current time. Once again the little man succumbs to the jackboot of so called progress The shop closed it's doors on 30 March 2013
