Wine tasting for only $5 or free with purchase. The cellar boasts a wide selection of moderately priced wines for tasting and purchase. Friendly staff and other gift ideas too. The real fun is in exploring the property. Vineyards, gardens and hidden treasures all around. There is even a small train that is sometimes operating for touring the area. Spacious enough for hosting weddings but intimate enough for a serene escape. My only regret was not coming for a meal. I would love to try the restaurant or cafe another time. This is worth the drive!

Funky, eclectic atmosphere. Staff were very friendly and knowledgable about all aspects of the menu. Food was delicious and sourced locally from the Bellarine Peninsula. Highly recommend this restaurant. read more
Rocking up to Oakdene you get greeted by grandiose flapping flags lining the driveway. Then you see the cellar door, and you might question if you've had one too many tastings for the day already before realising that no, it was intentionally build on its side like that. Like many places on the Bellarine, there's a $5 tasting fee that's refundable upon purchase - but unlike other places there's a whopping 14 wines to taste for your fiver. Even better is that many of them are rally great wines - from the sparkling to the pinots and shiraz. We visit Oakdene each time we're down this way, and shall long continue to do so. read more

What a great place. Divided into three different and distinct spaces Oakdene is sure to impress anyone. The formal dining room offered fine dining at a very low price. I had the scollops with pork belly for entree and the duck for main. Both cooked to perfection. The service was great. The only downside is half the tables are in the conservatory with makes it a little loud when full. The celler door offers tasting until 4 pm, and is well worth it. It costs $5 but that will be refunded it you make a purchase - and you will. The staff here too are very friendly and knowledgable. The court yard offers casual dining. With a focus of share platters and fish and chips. Perfect for a summers day. read more

This review is for the cafe out the back Just came in to have dinner with my husband on our mid week getaway. Steve wanted the $15 Parma. For our family out there this is no surprise. I ordered the $15 rump. It was 5.50pm when we ordered. There was about 15 in the place and they looked like locals. Always a good thing. We also ordered some garlic bread as an after thought as we were assuming meal might be a while. Meals arrived seriously within 5 minutes of being ordered. Our meals plus side of green beans all piping hot and amazing. Garlic bread arrived about 3 minutes later I would highly recommend this lovely little restaurant/cafe which now is chockablock and service amazing as well. Well done to all. We would not hesitate to come back read more

Interesting and luxurious restaurant. We had an array of food and drinks from the menu and loved everything we tried. The service is excellent and the wait staff are comfortable. Ive been to the cafe as well and while it was very good the restaurant is definitely worth the extra cost. read more
