Hands down, this shop has the cutest designs for Lake Placid shirts. My son was so happy with the shirt we bought him here. He couldn't stop staring at his shirt as we walked down Main Street. He wanted to wear the shirt immediately. My daughter was a bit sad they didn't have her size. The staff was so friendly, and this store is very conscientious and does not allow more than 15 persons in their shop at once. Great place to shop! I highly recommend stopping by, even if just to look at the apparel. The have apparel for adults to babies.

Really lovely gallery with a great selection of pieces, mostly paintings, from many local artists…read more Located right in the village of Lake Placid, so very convenient to take a little walk through as you're sampling the wares of other local shops. The price ranges vary widely across the pieces and I would estimate that most of the pieces run in the a few hundred to a few thousand dollar range - outside of our current budget unfortunately, but reasonable and expected given that they're original fine art pieces. If you are settled in a home and in a position to invest in a piece, this would be a great place to look for one - lovely variety, with many of the pieces obviously inspired from the surrounding natural beauty. My favorite pieces in the gallery were some lovely sculptures of otters hunting for trout - someday! As it is, I was able to purchase some lovely handmade copper earrings, which I'm very happy with. Would recommend a visit, whether to purchase a piece or just browse!
