Cutest little shop ever. A must stop in if you're ever in town! Such good prices too!

This is one of my favorite shops in Estes Park and as a resident, I visit it on a regular basis. I have always found one or two moderately priced "trendy" clothing items as well as jewelry. However, I am not sure if they've changed clothing buyers or what but the clothing selection is so frumpy and everything is crocheted flowers. I have no idea what's happened to the inventory, but it is the most depressing outdated clothing.. I am not going to give the store a bad review because it is a wonderful place to shop. I just want to bring attention to the owners. It's rare to find good pieces up here in Estes and the drastic change, not only in clothing, but also in the reduction of jewelry is a little confusing to me. I hope they take a closer look at the items. They are stocking and make some changes! read more

I made the mistake of looking up the weather in Denver for a wedding in Estes Park, not fully realizing that I would be IN the mountains. After the ceremony, I made a mad dash downtown to find something a little warmer to wear. I explained my predicament and not only did the associate find a wedding appropriate dress in the new stock in the back for me, but she also steamed the dress and threw in a stitch to help it fit better. Mary Jane's is such a cute little shop !!! You are greeted as soon as you walk in and immediately feel welcome. There is quite a variety of little items and there is also boutique style clothing. There's even things for your pets and for the men! You really have to take your time looking around so you don't miss anything . Love love love ! read more

First time visiting Estes Park this summer. This was definitely one of my favorite stores there! Tons of cute items ranging from clothing to jewelry to decor. Take a walk through the back of the store and you'll find some relaxing benches by the creek to sit and enjoy the beauty of Colorado. Oh, and don't miss the 'angel wings' photo opp as well. Was super surprised to see the low average score, but I'm hoping mine will bump it back up. Loved the eclectic mix of cute items including Vera Bradley (which initially drew me in) and Pandora. There were so many sweet little items thar I had to be mindful of want versus "need" (hard for me to do in stores like these). Settled on a cute Vera case for my iPad and a bracelet for a friend. Though there is a hat I am still thinking about.... Loved that there were many original and fun items that were a departure from the traditional Estes Park knick nacks. Will be back! read more

This Christmas Eve our family had a change of plans. My daughter was going to be spending Christmas with her two small children in Estes Park, as the rest of the family had to fly to CA to be with my ailing father. My daughter had Santa gifts for her two young daughters, but there wouldn't be anything for her. I remember she loved a store in Estes Park, but I couldn't remember the name. I knew it was somewhere near Starbucks, so I called them and asked what gift/clothing stores were close to them. When they mentioned Mary Jane's, I knew that was the store. I called them and told Steph my situation. She could not have been more helpful!! She texted me several gift ideas, and I chose the ones I wanted. She had them wrapped and delivered within an hour. Needless to say my daughter was overwhelmed! I cannot say enough about this store and how they helped me Christmas Eve. read more

This store is so fun! I could have spent all day walking around looking at everything. I narrowed my purchases down to a scarf and super cute owl spoon holder. My mom got a new wallet which has been working very well for her on our vacation. Items appeared to be high quality and nicely arranged. The two employees were very friendly and helpful but not pushy. read more

It got really cold one day while we were in Estes Park--you know, kind of "nipply", so I ventured in to Mary Jane's Closet to find a few warm t-shirts to wear under my sweaters. The sweet girls who worked here were very helpful. I was shown every style and color t-shirt they had. Finally, I settled on two long sleeve cotton tees that were on sale. I love both shirts and will wear them back in Austin in the winter. This is a very cute store with lots of great clothing options. Mary Jane's is the cutest, trendiest clothing store in Estes Park for gals. Tons of Free People, Billabong, Vera Bradley, lots of adorable accessories and jewelry. Always something new and fun to find! I could spend hours in Mary Jane's (and often do!) just going through all of the fun items and clothes! It is is set up great, private fitting rooms, right by the Starbucks on Main Street, and friendly, attentive staff that will help you with your needs. read more

First I want to say that Mary Jane's has some of the cutest clothes a d Great accessories in Estes. I found and WAS going to buy over $500 worth of items, near the end of my shopping spree, I realized I kept sitting my very empty cup down and didn't want to eventually walk away and leave it on one of their beautifully arranged shelves. My hands were full of unpurchased product so I obviously couldn't exit the store to find a street trash can. I politely peeked my head around the open spaced counter and place my empty cup in the trash can in the very exposed aisle. The only woman working there (8-26-11) very sarcastically said, 'well thank you' and then rushed over to pick it up out of the trash and said, 'I'll just go put this outside where it belongs'. Then a few minutes later, my mom asked the lady if a particular item she was looking at was on sale. The lady said 'all clothing items are discounted'. My mom said, 'ok, I just wanted to make sure this was included since it wasn't near a sale sign'. Yet again my new 'friend' very rudely and bluntly replied, 'yes, that's what all clothing items on sale means'. Normally I would have just blown this off, paid and left, but in this day and age where people think so little of manners it hit me, 'why should I give my hard earned $500+ to a store who hires such unfriendly people'? I am a small business owner myself and I would NEVER allow one of our employees to treat a customer this way nor would I treat ANYONE, client or not w such rude behavior. I then put every single thing back and left. Moral, Mary Jane's carries great products, but be prepared to be completely unappreciated as a customer. I come to Estes every year and I will not be shopping at MJ's ever again! With today's poor economic environment there are plenty hardworking, happy, helpful, respectful people looking for work. If you want to stay in business in a town where you only thrive 4 months out of the year, fire the disrespectful, middle aged brunette and hire someone who knows what a smile and customer service are to run you store!!!!! I will note I was very sad I felt I had to use buying power to influence her job security bc I really wanted the stuff I spent over an hour picking out! read more

My sister, a shopper with great taste, told me this was the ONE store we needed to visit at Estes Park. It was a sunny Friday in Estes with plenty of shoppers out. Our store clerk was kept busy checking people out, and super friendly. Back at my hotel, I found I'd lost my key! I called the two stores we visited, but could only leave a voice message for Mary Jane's. Stephanie called me back soon after to say she had found my key. As I didn't answer my phone, she delivered the key to my hotel right after closing! Thank you so much Stephanie! I was having a little freak out as the hotel name and room number were stamped on the key, and it was wonderful to have the key found, and returned!, so quickly. read more

This store is awesome! Every time I visit Estes My girls and I HAVE to go. There are always new and unique items to fall in love with. I love the amazing customer service we always receive. Can't wait for our next trip up there. read more
