They sincerely practice what they preach. My son has ADHD, and the teachers were exceptional in identifying his needs, using targeted strategies to assist him, and communicating with me about ways to support him. Despite his challenges, they never lost sight of his unique strengths. Now that he is in first grade, he is thriving. And, the beauty of it is, because it's a small school, his current teachers already have some familiarity with him and have been able to give me great feedback about his improvement. The focus on ensuring that kids are well-rounded citizens is also a real asset for FSA. My son is courteous, kind, and socially aware. He talks about helping the homeless, eating healthy foods, and caring for the environment. He gets adequate exercise and sunlight during the school day (which research shows is linked to greater energy and concentration). He is learning conflict management skills, mindfulness, empathy, and how to be a good member of a team. As someone who works with business leaders, I know that these lessons will be invaluable in his life. I once told the headmaster that he radiates warmth. His demeanor is so kind, upbeat, and positive - he never looks like he's going through the motions. I believe that he sets a great tone for the rest of the school. I can't rave enough about FSA. I'm so lucky that we found it!

Instead of coming into the school yelling and screaming at the staff take time to have a conversation with your child, teacher/teachers, the principal and possibly a mediator. This will help with the transition of getting settled into new surroundings. We should be operating as a common ground. Lets come together as a community and move mountains together. Let's get a hold and ahead of situations. Once we accomplish that we can accomplish anything. With a little work great things can be accomplished.

My son came home from school with an ear piercing and tattoos that were reportedly done by other students while Inside a classroon. I was later informed by administration Mrs.Thornton that one of the tattoos did occur at school. As a parent, I cannot understand how something involving tattoo equipment could happen inside a school environment without staff noticing or intervening. What concerns me even more are the allegations my son shared regarding inappropriate behavior from a teacher Mr. Johnson (Math teacher) in the classroom. According to my son, inappropriate sexual comments and questions were being directed toward students, including discussions about "body counts" and other topics that are completely unacceptable for middle school children. He also described inappropriate sound effects and conversations taking place during class time. This environment does not feel safe, professional, or appropriate for students who are supposed to be learning and developing in a positive setting. I understand every school has challenges, but parents deserve transparency, supervision, and professionalism from both staff and administration. I hope the district takes these concerns seriously and that future parents ask questions before enrolling their children here.

After a few weeks of attempting to study for the test on my own, I made the same choice many in my position do, and I reluctantly signed up for a very expensive class. Ultimately, this turned out to be a great decision. The Good: James, the Atlanta instructor, is why this review gets five stars. He is fantastic. He teaches the required curriculum, but then he goes beyond that and helps students understand the test, the best guessing strategies, and even those pesky math fundamentals that I have not used since high school. What I feel set this class apart from experiences my peers have had with other companies, is that James was always available. Even 4 months after the class, when I it was Steve vs. the GMAT, round II, I still got help with my GMAT questions via email. The online tutorial sessions are also fantastic. You can use them to supplement your in class and at home work, and ensure that you stay on track. What I liked most about them, is that they tended to be very personalized. The attendance was low, so it was typically a 3:1 ratio, which provided a very interactive learning environment. My only complaint about the class, is that they don't have a very solid "guarantee." After my first try at the test, I needed more help, and though James was available to answer specific questions, and the online materials were at my finger tips, I would have appreciated a chance to sit for more live classes. Overall, I HIGHLY recommend MGMAT to anyone.

They have teachers who come in early and stay late to help the kids who are having trouble with different subjects. I lived in PTC and my first kid went there to the green school. Drugs, clicks, and entitled brats reigned there. Sandy Creek is a great school with great people. No trouble at all. Yes, its diverse, so is the world.
