The flowers I received on VD were so old and soggy I can't believe they sent them out. I don't know how much they were but I get wayyyyy better and fresher flowers for $14 at Trader Joe's! Here we are on Tues (they were delivered Sat) and several have already died and the rose petals are curled. I changed the water the next day because it was already cloudy which usually happens when the flowers have been sitting in there a while, not a couple of days. When I phoned Mary Murray's Saturday morning to tell them where she was, I learned they had already called the hospital for the room number. Furthermore, they had designed and delivered it! When I went to visit my cousin, there was the bouquet in her room. It was stunningly beautiful. The design was lovely and the flower selection was just right. Not only were they not the correct number of roses, but they were not fresh And mostly open. I've seen better roses at the grocery store. My mother phoned the store to ask about the arrangement, and the clerk argued with her and HUNG UP on my 84 year old mother. I highly recommend NOT using this floral shop. Honestly, super disappointed with my experience with this place, and won't be a future customer. I'm giving them one star for being nice to talk to, and for taking my last minute order. However, This is what I received, for a grand total of $150 including delivery. They charged a whopping $10 PER STEM for each Calla Lily! I looked up the price online, and it seems most charge $3 per stem. Huge upcharge. I asked for something colorful, and they put ugly primary colors together that really aren't aesthetically appealing, in my opinion. I just think they did a poor job with the arrangement, and charged an arm and a leg for a bouquet that I could have gotten at a grocery store for a fraction of the price, and it actually would be prettier as well. This, folks, is what you'll get from this place for $125, plus a 20 dollar delivery fee. Go to Anthousai instead. They produce pieces of art and are incredibly generous with how many blooms they give for the price. I can't believe I paid as much for this bouquet as I did for a huge gorgeous one from there. My boyfriend sent me a dozen red roses and a box of chocolates on Dec. 4th, for my birthday. The man who delivered was friendly and wore a mask (as per Covid-19 precautions). The roses are absolutely beautiful. I have managed to keep them alive after three days. The chocolates were outstanding. I devoured those in about 60 seconds flat. The chocolates pair very well with a bottle of wine! I hope to receive more gifts sent from you all in the future. I only wish I had taken some photos of the chocolates to share as well! read more

I get flowers from Mary Murray's enough that my whole office giggled when the van pulls into our parking lot. Lol I'm a bit spoiled. I have had some that I've liked more than others, of course. The only constructive criticism I would give would be... lillies are a KILLER if anyone in the office had any kind of allergies- I wish they weren't even used in bouquets for that reason. My poor co-worker was sneezing all afternoon so they had to go straight home. The replacements for the lillies in the subsequent bouquet looked less... put together. I personally put together my own bouquets for my home and I'm sure they were just trying to find something less pollen-y to replace it with, but it just gave it a less "finished" look. I loved them regardless because of the gesture, but if I were ordering as a gift or for myself, that would be what I would think. The only other thing is... that even though he seldom writes anything on the messages- I would prefer that they remain in an envelope. My last delivery had a note related to my work stress on it, and it was not in an envelope, and was picked up and brought to me by my boss. Big cringe. Besides that, I have had great experience with the delivery staff being professional, and my flowers are always in wonderful condition and last an appropriate amount of time for cut flowers. Checked them out here on yelp and saw that they were rated pretty well so I ordered two Mother's Day bouquets through them. One was fine but the other was nothing like what was pictured, it wasn't just that a few substitutions had to be made, it was completely different, different flowers, different vase, nothing was right. Doubly upsetting because the bouquet that was correct was less expensive and the one that they got wrong was twice as expensive but the flowers in the "expensive" bouquet weren't anywhere near as nice as the cheaper one. My sister and I grew up hearing from our mom about Mary Murray's and saw the beautiful silk arrangements they helped her create for our home. They were always unique but pricey. When mom turned 80 recently I came to Yelp to get their phone number. I was concerned by a few reviews I saw here. I even visited a couple other florists shops. I knew mom would feel special if she were to receive something from them and trusted that the arrangement would be nice if I gave them the time to do it. I spoke to Karen at the shop and explained what I wanted to spend on a delivered arrangement. She was very cordial and provided a better explanation of the various arrangements I was thinking about. I knew mom would like the "Amazing" something arrangement, which I can't find now to confirm the name, because it was different than just a bunch of flowers. Karen was clear that there wouldn't be as many flowers as other arrangement but I wasn't concerned. I knew that there would be enough or MM wouldn't put their name on it! So by the time I was able to reach Mary Murray's, as I live in California, they had already delivered the flowers to the neighbor as my parents were not home. They then called me to tell me that they will tell the neighbor to keep the flowers for themselves for Mothers DAy and they would deliver the flowers to my mom when she returned from her trip. I have always been able to rely on Mary Murray's staff of incredibly talented and creative designers to deliver beautiful unique flower arrangments. They have consistently provided above and beyond service and have exceeded my expectations every time. My customer experience has been excellent, even in this difficult time they managed to provide beautifully designed arrangements. I have been the most pleased when I give the artists some freedom to create a unique custom design made especially for the occasion. I do look at the website for general ideas but I have never been one for "cookie-cutter" arrangements. Wow! I was looking up Mary Murray's Flowers (MMF) to place another order for my Aunt in Tulsa and am so surprised to see anything negative for them. I had a terrible experience with one of the big floral sites (they didn't deliver the flowers at all!) and looked on-line for a local florist. MMF delivered as promised and the roses lasted for close to two weeks. My Aunts was thrilled. I've ordered from MMF at least two other times with the same results. Year 2 of ordering Mother's Day corsages and my experience this year is consistent with last year. Great service over the phone and beyond the call of duty service on delivery day. Turns out I'd forgotten to call them back with my mom's phone number (couldn't access it while I was on the phone placing the order) and when their driver attempted delivery while my mom wasn't home, they took it upon themselves to call information or look in last year's records to find a phone number to reach her at. They connected with her and arranged delivery instead of throwing their hands up like, "well, what we were we supposed to do?" Since I live nearly 500 miles away, I really appreciate them going the extra mile to deliver Mom's flowers on time. I ordered a special off Yelp and while I could not figure out how to redeem online, the manager of the store was so helpful when I called and walked me through everything. I would give 0 stars if i was able to. I spent around $100 for flowes and paid an exta $25 for extra lily's and what was delivered was nothing like what I ordered plus no lily's. I was told a new arraignment would be delivered and it never was. If you like wasting money then use this flower shop, but I will never use them and I plan on telling everyone I know not to use them. It is so hard to order flowers from out of town. But, Mary Murray's did such a great job with my order. I live in LA, and a friend in Tulsa had a baby and was coming home from the hospital. I wanted her to have flowers waiting for her and the baby that day. So I called Mary Murray's directly. Since I wanted the flowers delivered the same day, I asked what they had that was beautiful and would last a while. Then I gave them my price range and told them to make it beautiful. Not only did they deliver it in under 2 hours but I got an email when the flowers were delivered! I've ordered from other florists in other cities and have never gotten email confirmation. I ordered flowers for a friend who just had a baby boy, and was unfortunately very disappointed by the service. I ordered an arrangement with blue, yellow, and white flowers with a ribbon. They delivered and arrangement with pink, orange, and white flowers and no ribbon. When asked why they did not provide what was described, they said they didn't have those colors in stock. I was also told the pink flowers were 'actually peach'. Their customer service and their stock of flowers could definitely be improved. Was in Japan, and ordered flowers a couple of days before Valentines day for my wife, to be delivered to her at work. The flowers did not arrive until the day after valentines day, after making some calls. Although the people at Mary Murray's were attentive and were trying to help, seems they had a lot of deliveries that day that went awry. The flowers my wife ended up with did appear to be a day or so old, just somewhat diminished in vibrancy. I was actually surprised when i called about this, and they only offered to refund the delivery charge, nothing else. Entire reason for ordering was to get my wife something at work ON Valentines day. If i had been given any indication that was not going to happen on time, i would not have ordered. read more

I was a little behind the ball on Mother's Day shopping this year and had called several florists on Friday in the Tulsa area only to be told that a delivery would be impossible and that I was unlikely to find anyone who could make a delivery, then I called Mary Murray's and was delighted to be informed that they had anticipated Mother's Day being hectic and had staffed appropriately and I could even have them delivered that day, now that is Professionalism and the way to run a winning business! The staff was delightful kind and patient with me and my many questions even though I'm sure they were extremely busy. I paid a little more than I had originally budgeted for but when I saw the product they delivered realized it was worth every penny and more the Orchids they delivered were stunning! They were only a little more than what I had seen online but as opposed to the fairly sparse orchids I had seen online there were two stems simply laden with breathtakingly beautiful flowers in a much more attractive vase than I had seen available online. I am from California, called to place an order due to what i read online about your company. asked for a very specific order for my #1 customer and the loss of her mother. The flowers that were sent were noting what i had expected or requested. i was called by a manager apologizing after i had never received a picture as the company stated they would send of what the flowers looked like and after i got the picture i was very discouraged. the manager "discounted" the flower, then once i received the receipt i saw the girl who took the order spelled the person name wrong (first and last) it was sent to completely wrong, the company name she works for was spelled wrong, and my company name was also spelled wrong. I am more than humiliated with how horrible my experience was with ordering over the phone with your company and felt taken advantage of since i gave a high price range of what i wanted sent. of course you guys charged me the whole 150.00 before the "discount" was given. I would never refer anyone to you as i feel your company was not sincere with the wrong order nor made me feel like you guys even cared that it was wrong, nor did anyone get back to me regarding the names being spelled wrong after i spoke to the manager. I would NOT waste my time or money communicating with this business, since they can't be bothered keeping their own information straight internally. They wasted a lot of my time and effort, then never followed through with even a quote! I wanted a quote for some wedding flowers. After I took time uploading photos and detailed notes to their database (they're the ONLY florist who wanted this in advance and it was a total waste of my time), their wedding specialist was a no-show for our first meeting, and then made up an outrageously high quote based only on the sparse notes of an associate who filled in for her at the last minute. Their quote was 3x higher than any other florist's, and didn't reflect key things I'd asked for! When I pointed this out she asked me to come for ANOTHER meeting so she could issue a revised quote, which I did. She actually was there for our appointment this time, but went on and on justifying their high pricing and was patronizing toward other florists with lower quotes ("they must be working out of their garage, those aren't real florists" etc) It was so frustrating having to break into her monologues to correct all the wrong assumptions she'd made, and repeat what I'd told the associate at the first meeting and put into their database! There are clearly very poor lines of communication among the staff.
