Over the last 2 years we have made more discoveries in 4 visits to this store than in the remaining 100 weeks in the UK. The focus is on the Languedoc as you would expect given the shop's location. However, unusual bottles are on offer from around France with the Loire being another area which is well represented. There is also an interesting selection of whisky and rum if that is your thing. Either way, a visit here is very worthwhile - put yourself in the hands of the owners and you will not go wrong!

Surrounded by limestone cliffs that are typical of the region, I was impressed by the whites that I tried here. The tastings are complimentary and instead of water to rinse out glasses between reds and whites, they use white wine. The woman who ran the tasting room did speak some English and I was told that there is a distributor in California! (Henri Wine in Benecia to be exact.) Not a pricey wine in the least (don't recall but less than 20€), it was more the experience of tasting the various wines itself that left more of an impression.

Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. They definitely love what they do there. It was such a blast. So fun and relaxing! What a great wine tasting experience.
