TLDR; This company put a roof on my house that didn't last even 1/4 of the promised time; when I reached out to negotiate reimbursement (because a new roof is needed), I was blocked by the owner, with no response. If you need any kind of roof work done on your home, or you want to be treated with any kind of respect, then absolutely DO NOT go to Brandon's Home Repairs. When he put a new roof on my mom's house (while he worked under a different company name), he assured her it would last about 4x as long as it actually has. We have to put a new roof on, which is expensive, so I reached out to the owner, to explain the situation and see if we could get compensation. Of course nobody expects their first request to just be paid, and I was fully open to negotiation, but it didn't seem to right to post a review without even giving him the chance to make it right. However, after being ignored, and now very obviously blocked, without any kind of response, I'm more upset than if he had just said no, or been unable to reach an agreement. When I looked up his previous business, I found that I'm not the only one this happened to, either. I guess if you're looking for a short term fix, then this business might be fine. But for any kind of honesty, or long-term work, I'd look elsewhere.

After that, they took the time to schedule a free estimate, during which they even caulked some obvious but small holes in my roof, free of charge! He offered to drill couple of holes in the J-Channel around the window frame as this was the problem for the leak and did not charge me for it. I am going to have him fixing couple tiles because it is rare to find someone who is willing to do something for free as it only took him a minute to drill the holes but he did have to figure out the problem for the leak. As an Army veteran, he certain possesses the integrity of a soldier as he could definitely charged me a lot of money by exaggerating the leak problem. DO NOT RECOMMEND. I…read morenormally love giving local, family-owned companies huge shout-outs and great reviews. Sadly, Cook Siding & Windows is not one of those companies. Our 7-10 day project lasted nearly 8 months (from contract to final inspection). We did have two installers and the final project manager (Malachi) who entered the project in the last 2-3 weeks who were excellent. Kudos to them! Everything else related to this project was a complete disappointment. Falsehoods, unexplained delays, subcontract workers tearing up the yard/project space, then disappearing for months at a time, mismatched materials, incorrect materials, sub-par work in places, permitting issues and unanswered calls and texts to our sales rep, other project managers and ultimately Cook's president for several months. We experienced all of this and more. This company is not the same company from years past. They used to be reputable and reliable. Some of this can be blamed on Covid (that is why we requested that they not even start the project until ALL materials had come in - which we quickly found out was not the case), but the falsehoods, ultimate lack of communication, errors in ordering materials and the irresponsibility of the subcontractors that they hired was Cook's responsibility and could not be attributed to Covid. This company must want only one shot at your business and money because they surely don't do anything to secure your future business.
