I was traveling in Wausau for work and looked around for a massage spot (very few here) and found this place. Scheduling: Somewhat cumbersome. It takes you to schedulicity that doesn't allow you to view providers' availability before you choose them. For example, if you wanted a certain provider, you have to pick them, then pick your service, only to find that they're not available on the days that you are. So then you have to go back and pick another provider and hope they're available then. A simple calendar would make this all be much easier. Location: It's within a business building, so if you're not local, may be a touch bit difficult to find, especially without GPS (Wausau + tmobile don't mix). Decor: Hit the perfect balance between clinical + relaxation. Very nice and well kept. Massage: I actually picked Keirsten as she was the one that was available when I had some time. She's the newest member on the team, and recently graduated, and she did a fantastic job. She asked me where my problem area was, and got to work. I admit, my problem area is pretty tough, she must have worked on it for what seemed like a good while, but she got it! Excellent massage. Give her a try. Overall: Huge fan of this place, very affordable, and if I'm ever in Wausau again, I'll definitely give another visit.

You need to get Ed & Jeff a gift certificate for Christmas to get that done!" He also said - "This is the first time I could turn my head all the way to the side when I needed to look out my window while driving! I feel like an Owl." Now he wants to get a massage from Amy every 3 weeks to see if it can help him sleep better and help with the back pain. Absolutely horrible service. Arrived 10 min late cause had a hard time finding the shack (yes…read moreshack) in the middle of nowhere. Spa owner has had the location for 7 years but still doesn't know that the business is on Stadt Road, not Stadt Ave. Scheduled the appt online w 8 hours notice; whole afternoon was available for booking starting at 12:30. Had Difficulty scheduling the appt cause can't add all services in 1 request. Walked in 10 min late, and she had no other clients there and she proceeds to tell me the appt is cancelled cause I'm 10 min late. The whole appt was suppose to be allotted 1 hour and 45 min. She said she had an appt after me and couldn't provide any of the 7 services I requested. I said how about we just remove waxing thr under arms which was allotted 15 min of time to make out the difference and she said it wasn't possible! So I'm about to leave and then she tells me to come in- that it was "my last chance". Just the worst customer service ever. I should had just walked out. The spa room has dirty carpets, low ceilings and half the time I was staring up at a fast living fan w no consideration to turn it off. Within only 50 min, she completed all 7 areas of Waxing, refused to engage in conversation, and $190 later I walked out w still unwaxed legs! My razor could had done a better job. I commented on how come it doesn't hurt like it use to, and she said because she "was good at her job". No it was because she wasn't pulling the hair out at the root! Just breaking it off. I booked a hot stone massage and didn't get hot stones. But the massage I received was good. Afterwards, her personality did a 180 and she rudely CONFRONTED me about my weight. I had recently lost 90 pounds from weightloss surgery and she said to me "if you had ACTUALLY done your research, you would know xyz." It was so bizarre! She was so hostile and confrontational for absolutely no reason at all. She actually said the words "if you had ACTUALLY done your research" like I was some kind of moron. I decided to give her the benefit of the doubt, maybe she was coming from a place of concern, but her delivery wasn't as kind as she may have intended. I'm thinking, "Okay just give her her tip and get out of here." Then she tells me my total. I said "Oh, when I booked online, I entered the gift certificate code I'm using." She looked at me with annoyed, raised eyebrows and with a snotty tone said, "I don't know you have a gift certificate unless you TELL ME." She might as well have said "you idiot," the way she was speaking to me. I pulled it out of my purse and she continued to carry on about "people not READING" the fine print on the website. (But seriously, when you book, there's a place to enter a gift certificate code!) I don't know why, but I still gave her a tip, turned around and left as fast as I could. Couldn't get out of there fast enough. I took the afternoon off of work to get a relaxing massage, and ended up not getting the massage I booked, being chastised for my weight, being called stupid (because, according to her, I hadn't "actually done my research") and bullied for not telling her I had a gift certificate, even though I entered it online when I booked. I definitely do not recommend this place and would very much caution anyone considering her services. And looking at her other responses to negative feedback on Google and Yelp, I'm fully expecting more of the same from her in response to my review. I do wish her peace and healing from whatever is going on inside her to treat customers, but more importantly, human beings, this way.
