booked online was charged for the massage after I missed the appointment. ok fine, I got a later time and came in. was supposed to be 60 mins, ended being 30. The guy who gave it to me smelled like feet and had even taken his shoes off enhancing the foot door. it was all I could to to breathe. he also did the left side longer than the right. when I asked reception if the massage was an hour the said "it's 50 mins hands on" but i arrived at 430 and was done with everything and dressed by 515. will never go back. read more

This location is terrible. I signed up for a Massage Envy membership in 2017. I did not use it much, but kept my year-long commitment. I called in January 2019 to cancel, and assured it was taken care of. Sure enough, my bank account was charged again in February. I called to dispute this, and again cancel. The front desk representative, Devon, was incredibly rude from the start. She sent me the forms to cancel, and told me the manager would call me the following day. The manager did not contact me, so I called again. They said the manager was not at their desk, but left a message. Devon called me back, not the manager, and said that they canceled my membership, but would not reimburse me. She then said that they had to rehire all new front desk staff, and that the previous staff did not record my conversation as they should have. Massage Envy's employee problem is not my problem. I should not have my account charged for their inadequate management. Further, their manager should contact me his/herself in regards to the issue. Considering the "friendliness" of their front desk staff, I assume this person has no business managing a location to begin with. Awful customer service, and a manager too cowardly to deal with an issue their self. I urge you to go to a real spa for your massage and facial needs. read more

Doraine is by far the best massage therapist I've ever had. I had a few problems with a few of the therapist that were there and i left for awhile but no one could get my knots out of my neck and back like she could so i went back and they have been amazing! read more

I'm not sure why this place is named Massage Envy, unless you envy someone who went somewhere else to get a good massage. I digress, the massage was okay, but far from the best I have had elsewhere. The downfall of this experience was all the pomp and circumstance leading up to the actual massage. I am educated. I know what a massage is. Apparently both of those facts were lost on this place. Prior to seeing my massage therapist, who was 30 minutes late by the way, I had to fill out a questionnaire and release; pretty standard. Then, a representative reviewed everything with me. I wasn't sure if this was policy, she was hitting on me, or she was wasting time to allow my therapist to get to work - did I mention she was way late?! Anyway, my patience was wearing thin with her sales pitch and had to interrupt her about 20 minutes in with, "is anyone available, right now? I mean, I don't give a fuck if you wanna do it, but I have somewhere to be." She assured me it wouldn't be much longer as she continued to try to sell me a bevy of package deals for getting regular massages done there. I told her, "let's see how this one goes first, if I ever even do get one today." My therapist finally arrived and I was shown a room. The 90 massage was not 90 minutes since they count dressing, setting the mood with incense and lighting, and getting you a water "due to all the toxins released into your system following the massage." *Note to self: check the scientific truth to these free-radical toxins being released and how water combats them. Anyway, I received about 75 minutes of hands on massage. The therapist did a satisfactory job - it was just the mismanagement of time on several levels, and she was a little chatty. When I'm getting massaged, I'm trying to relax - I want silence. I stopped responding to her so she eventually stopped talking. Needless to say, I won't be returning; it was a prolonged experience that left me more stressed than when I initially arrived. read more

The lady at the fromt desk was EXTREMELY rude. My friend called an hour before the appointment to confirm. When she got there they canceled her appointment!!! And gave the reservation away! Then told her they couldn't refund her and wouldn't reschedule. NEVER go here! read more

Annoying place that wastes your time and keep pushing to sell you their subscription. The massage itself is poor and generic. They finish around 10 mins before time since they count the time they waste talking to you about their promotions. Not recommended read more

My wife is going thru Chemo therapy and was denied service by the Evansville Massage Envy because of it. After surgery and chemo, she finally felt well enough to get and wanted to treat herself to some pampering. For some reason she thought this place was so great and I have purchased around $500 in gift cards for her from this place. After the way they treated her, we will not be returning. After speaking with Jay, the manager, he refused to refund the gift cards and told me that my wife would be welcomed back if she had a doctor's note. So basically I gave them a free $500. This place discriminates against people with cancer, what do you all think of that? If I could give it a negative star rating I would. read more

I had called and made an appointment and after waiting for almost the 30 the receptionist/manager told me that my masseuse has left for break. After calling and making an appointment and then driving 30 minutes to find out my masseuse "went on break" was frustrating to say the least. I don't understand how you can schedule an appointment and then the person not even be there. They did offer me, for my next visit, an 1 hour massage at the price of a 30 minute massage. However I have no plans to go back and will instead go to a place that is more responsible with their scheduling. read more

My wife and I signed up for memberships over a year ago and it has been a terrible experience. First trying to get scheduled is very difficult and we found there is rarely availability unless it's weeks out. When people decide they want a massage they usually aren't thinking weeks away. They don't seem to have enough therapists and have had turnover due to unhappy staff. We have had multiple mishaps with the office schedulers and management over things that should be easy. And no serious effort in service recovery. Massage Envy just caused us STRESS- the opposite of what they're supposed to do. Ultimately we had to find other massage sources and never could use the "credits" we paid for. We rarely complain or write reviews but this business needs a turnaround. read more
