I like everything about this location, except their telephone service. I literally have to call 2, 3 sometimes 4 times to schedule an appointment. There are times when I am busy and forget to call back minutes later and wind up not scheduling a massage at all. :/ I'm a longtime Massage Heights customer and have never experienced this at any other locations. Don't recommend going here. Called 2 weekends ago and booked a couples appointment, even got a phone call to confirm the appointments the day before. Showed up to the place and they only had one appointment booked. Was then rescheduled for both appointments and was offered an add on we chose foot scrub. Coming back a week later for the rescheduled appointment, the massage therapist had no idea it was a couples massage. Also did not know there was an elevation. When the massage ended and I asked why we didn't receive the add on, she showed me the foot scrub and said this is all that would've been and they couldn't do it. The massage was good but not receiving the add on after being told I would since they messed up on booking is really frustrating. Will be taking my business elsewhere next time. read more

The massage I received here was great. Unfortunately the front desk staff was not. I was charged for services that were not explained prior, even though I told the scheduler twice that I was a new customer. This alone was enough to deter me from returning. However I received a gift card for a massage and so I tried them again. Whoever issue the gift card did not write the value on the card. This may seem like a small thing, and I wouldn't have noticed it except for this: the issuer wrote "One hour full body massage with hot stones." So when I called, this is what I requested be scheduled. When I told the scheduler that I was a return customer, she began to explain that I wasn't entitled to the introductory rate and that I had to pay the difference between whatever was on my gift card and the "market rate" for the service I scheduled. "What? That doesn't make sense," I insisted, and was transferred to another young woman who repeated the same information. Which begged the question: Why was the value not written on the card in the first place? And why would you sell a massage at UNDER market value without knowing whether or not the customer is entitled to the introductory rate? I took the gift card in to the location and asked if they could tell me the value (69.99). I then asked for a price list that included "market rates" so I could determine what services I could get with the card. I called back to schedule an appointment for a 30-minute massage ("market value" was around 50 bucks, according to the brochure I received). THIS time I was told that the rate for a 30-minute massage was NOT 50 dollars, but 99.99 - the same as a 60-minute massage. When I asked why the brochure listed a different price, I was placed on hold, and to my surprise, transferred to someone else, who I had to explain the situation to again. The last straw was that at the end of this utterly confusing conversation, the first girl I talked to had never completed booking my appointment, so I showed up to the location and did not receive any services. Which, as it turned out, was fine - I drove down the street to Lee Foot Relax on Bay Area and El Camino and got an incredible 90-minute massage. I feel bad that my friend wasted 69.99 on a gift card that will NOT be used. read more

I have now been here about four times, three of which I had Brooke as my therapist. I have never had better deep tissue massages in my life!! I have serious muscle spasms in my back that create huge knots that hide under my shoulder blades and Brooke is the first person who has ever been able to bring me this kind of relief before. After starting a new stressful job, I just wanted a way to relax and unwind. Coming back from the beach, Google sent me to this location and I'm very happy! My therapist was Tanya and she was great! I didn't want a massage where I leave feeling more sore than I went in and she was great at delivering a soft and relaxing massage. Will definitely return the next time I'm in the area. I had a great experience here. I was off yesterday and my back and shoulders were killing me!!! I scheduled an appointment at another massage spa and they had to cancel on me for an emergency. I called Massage Heights at Baybrook and they got me an appointment at same time I was originally going to have! Like within 30mins! The ladies at the front desks that day were so helpful, kind to me and understandingly my cancellation at the other place. I even signed up for a membership to here and because I signed up they waived my enrollment fee! And to top it off, The massage therapist Jack was awesome! I asked for firm deep tissue massage and I got exactly that. I left feeling relaxed and with less tension on my shoulders. Thank you Massage Heights!!! read more

What a scam. The management here has been selling a Groupon for a package of 3 massages. Sounds great, except the fine print apparently only allows first time customers to get a massage. So you would have to give one of the massages to at least two other different people because once you get your massage you're no longer a first time customer. When I called to schedule a massage they found in the system that I had visited another Massage Heights location previously and therefore couldn't use the Groupon that I had already paid for. Neither could my husband because he used one of the three Groupon massages. And their only solution was to sell me a membership! Which is like a hundred more dollars! And they tried to act like they had no control over the issue--as if they weren't the ones who created the Groupon! And of course the Groupon is nonrefundable. So disappointed I wasted my money with these scam artists. read more

I can't say enough wonderful things about Jared and the reception staff at massage heights. I typically have a 90 minute massage with hot stone elevation and it's SO RELAXING. The membership is completely worth every penny. It's normally easy to get an appointment and the staff is great at making notes for you on which therapists you liked or didn't like as much to help you with booking. They always offer water before and after to keep you hydrated, and have a nice assortment of products in the front. I haven't tried the facials, but plan to soon. read more

This place has the worst customer service. I had a Groupon that clearly said that it could be used there if we had not been there in the past six months and I have NEVER been there. I've been to another one but not to that one. "Valid for new clients only or those who have not been in for a massage at Massage Heights Baybrook in the last six months." Then they say that at the very bottom it says limit one per person. Please, fix your groupons and put in the fine print that you cannot use it unless you've used another. It says limit one per person but that could also mean one per person to that location. It DOES NOT SAY to ALL locations. Please fix this or else other people will be disappointed as well with the incorrect wording. read more

Don't go here! This place is a scam!!! They charge you more and more money at every visit! Nothing is ever correct....they charge you for elevations...what a joke!!!! Why does it matter whether you are massaging my face or my back it's the same amount of time. Then they promise you credits on your account for the errors and that never come through to your account!!!! So all along they are charging you the wrong amounts then what was originally agreed upon, and then tell you there was a price increase that they have never discussed with you by the way. They also make it impossible to cancel your membership! Stay far, far, away! It's really a shame that they run their business this way because the massage therapists are actually pretty great. read more

It was a Tuesday morning. No matter anytime of the day you expect to come in a massage establishment hoping to receive the best relaxed hour of your life right? Not for me. My massage therapist name was Filiberto and from the beginning he was very off putting and rude. For one, he requires his guests to wear masks, but doesn't provide any to the guests that don't have masks. Prior to the massage he asked several questions that I filled out a form for. During my experience, there were several unnecessary comments that I took offensively. Comments like "oh, you don't look like you come here often." And "Your back and shoulders are uneven." Now, prior to the service, the actions committed I was thinking well he better have the best hands in all of Houston, considering these requirements and comments. But, he didn't. If you don't have anything nice to say, DON'T SAY IT AT ALL. Certainly not worth the money considering I left feeling insulted and definitely not relaxed. read more

I don't recommend signing up. I have had the most frustrating time trying to cancel. In Dec I called to let them know I didn't need anymore treatments and wanted to cancel the membership. They won't email or fax you a cancellation notice. You have to go in to do it in person. The receptionist said as long as I came in by the end of the day on the 12/11 I would not be charged on 12/13. It was inconvenient to go in that same day so I accepted the Dec charge and went in on 12/28 telling them I wanted to cancel. The cancellation form however stipulated a 30 day cancellation notice policy which the receptionist said wouldn't apply in my situation when the manager processed it. She also allowed me to leave a note on the form stating cancellation was effective immediately. Manager just called and said I misunderstood everything and would be charged again for January because there was a 30 day policy. I expressed that had I been told this in December, I would have just gone in on 12/11 to avoid being charged for not just 1 but 2 months of service I didn't want. The manager suggested it was my own misunderstanding but based on two different conversations with receptionists, clearly it was their own miscommunication which I was paying for. The manager "apologized for any miscommunication" but said there was nothing she could do. read more

Did the couples massage with mayra and chris. Mayra was a dream, her angelic hands paired with her soothing tone sent me to this the most relaxing area in baybrook, clearly shari has done an amazing job with this location. read more

I had a facial done here today for the first time by Courtney. I had a great experience and she did an awesome job. I was able to close my eyes and relax and came out feeling great. The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the high pressure sales after my facial. The young lady at the front desk was entirely too pushy. She offered me the membership (which I declined), she then offered me a different membership (which I also declined). While I understand she is more than likely trained and required to offer every person this membership. It made me very uncomfortable that she kept pushing and pushing for it and I think it is beyond RUDE to ask why I was declining the service. I believe as a customer if I say I am not interested, it should be left alone. I was clearly uncomfortable with how pushy she was about it, and that did not stop her from continually offering me different memberships and packages and not once but twice asking why I was declining. read more

Will NEVER come here again!!!! I used a gift card this morning that was purchased a few months ago by my husband for my birthday. After a few hours of leaving this so called place of business, I received a call from the manager letting me know that the gift card had zero balance. My husband paid in full for three massage sessions, and I only used one session, still had two available. The manager said the "membership" my husband purchased expired from the time of purchase for only three months. The manager also suggested calling the Fairway location to have this place open the funds on my gift card. Otherwise, I would have to pay for the visit from today. I am sorry, but this is fraud! My husband paid the full amount for three sessions I only used one session. Whoever thought of this idea to have individuals such as my husband purchase a "membership" is very smart because now they are labeling a gift card membership so they can have the right NOT to provide services if they don't use this card within the three months. Honestly, I am a mother of three boys, go to school and work full time. I never have time for myself that is the reason my husband purchased the massage in the first place. On the back of my gift card, it clearly said THIS GIFT CARD HAS NO EXPIRATION DATE!!! He wanted me to relax, and this was clearly not a relaxing experience, but it was very stressful. The manager took the funds from my account without my acknowledgment or signature. In other words, if you leave your credit card with this company and your not there and if they feel you need to be charged for extra services they will charge your credit card. That is a very scary situation and will report this company to the better business bureau. read more
