We went for walk and found the first hotel and booked a room for R$120. Very basic room, small but clean with TV and mini bar. Bathroom clean. Ordered some room service from the kitchen which the food was fine but a bit salty for both of us. So far only the manager spoke English so it's a bit difficult to communicate as we don't speak Portuguese. The hotel is located very close to the old part of town, free Wi Fi and breakfast is included. It was ok for us for 1 night stay.

They were always giving us tips as where to go and how to get there! There is a close shopping mall called Shopping Total which was great also!

This place looks like a one star hotel…read more But, the place is clean, the showers are warm, the beds are comfty, and the price for a 2 bedroom with enough space for more cost 27$USD total, and is cheaper than a hostel nearby. you also get towels, a 10 minute walk from the bus station and 10 minute walk to old told, down town, everywhere!! perfect. no speak english nor spanish well though,,,,

The place is going through a major remodeling and sometimes the hallways get a little dusty, but it will be a lot better when its done. A good choice for a business traveler like me who doesn't want to pay a fortune for expensive accomodations.

Parking and wifi internet is free. Rooms are clean, spacious and quiet. Breakfast its just ok and it costs R$ 30,00. Pepsi on Stage, where a bunch of concerts take place with certain regularity, is right next to the hotel.
