We used Paper Rock Scissor for all our wedding stationary needs (Save the Dates, Invites, and day…read moreof stationary), and we can't recommend them enough! Liz and Maggie were ultra-responsive, very easy to work with, and we were incredibly happy with the final results! They were quick to respond to feedback, and the final designs they created were stunning. They even helped connect us with a local artist to create a custom monogram for our wedding, and then used elements of that monogram throughout our stationary to really make the final items stand out and feel unique. I'd highly recommend Paper Rock Scissor if you're considering a high-end stationary vendor for your wedding, or any other important purpose. We have no regrets at all with the choice we made.

I oddly cared a lot about the stationary for our wedding (yet had no idea what I wanted, really), so asking a complete stranger to create something awesome for us was a bit of a leap of faith. However, I had a great feeling about the entire staff, and couldn't have made a better choice. They were so responsive and helpful and created a stunning final product that got us tons of props from our guests. We got married in Mexico, and the theme completely captured our theme, even though I only had a few incoherent thoughts to provide them about the "theme" of the wedding (Frida Kahlo, surfing, Mexico). My now husband also provided some incoherent thoughts (thick paper, no bows), and they managed to please both of us. Working with PRS was the highlight of our wedding planning experience, and I'd recommend them to anyone.

We purchased our wedding invitations from Carlson Craft. We ordered invitations with a pocket to…read morehold the rsvp, directions, and other cards. We received them with about 12 days before we needed to send the invitations. I checked the invitations and thought everything was fine. That weekend is when I noticed their mistakes that were harder to find. They forgot to our embossed initials that we paid $40 extra for. They also gave us the wrong envelope seals. The invitations were mailed back to them (overnight mail) and arrived on June 11th. I told them we needed to mail the invitations to the guests by June 18th. They made the correction, and mailed them back to me......by regular ground mail!!! Ground mail is slow! We received our invitations on June 23rd, long after the 18th. On the 23rd, we were in Canada (not home in California). We had to ask my sister pick up the invitations, assemble them, and then send them to our guests....late. Summary: In the end, the invitations looked pretty good. Note: Carlson Craft will donate 10% of your purchases to a charity through the idofoundation.org. The painful parts were Carlson Craft screwing up 3 times; with the embossing, envelope seals, and the slow ground mail delivery that made my invitations late! My sister had to assemble all of the invitations....by herself! I will never order anything from Carlson Craft again. (Overall grade: D)

Ok well I'm in the industry and have worked for a company who has been a dealer for Carlson Craft…read morefor years! Customer Service and the quality can be a hit, or miss...So knowing that there might be a chance where your order might not be perfect the 1st time around when ordered, because of Carlson Craft QC Department wasn't efficient, will save you from a lot of resentment by knowing ahead of time. The good: - They're not the best in the printing industry, but their price-point is what people want to pay. - Turn around time can be quick...as long as you don't have any re-do's! So if you're in a hurry getting your invitations and can't afford a delay, because they're might be some corrections needed...then I wouldn't go with Carlson Craft....Pay for the customer service and quality, and go with more of a reliable company such as Checkerboard, Crane, or William Arthur. - If order isn't perfect, they will re-do your order...However, you might have some work to do on explaining to CS why the order is not up to par...rather than just fixing the problem with no problem and a smile! The bad: - You would be lucky if you're order came in perfect without us having to call them because of bent corners, poor packaging for mailing, missing parts on the order, thermography wasn't consistent, or they shipped the wrong item, or didn't ship the item at all! - Again depending who you get in customer service....Sometimes they wait for their dealers to get angry before they just take care of the problem. They don't understand that we need to tell the customers a great explanation why their order is delayed without them being upset. However, Mirium in customer service is a GEM...She's willing to go far and beyond to help you. There were many times where someone in customer service wasn't willing to hear us out without denying our request, or gave us a nasty attitude about the situation, but Mirium if anything listens to her clients. So just ask for her, she definitely hold it down for having great people skills and can count on her for helping you out, and making sure your order will be on time.

The process with megan is mind blowing as she coached me through the process of each, especially with developing a logo and branding pieces, something so sensitive and dear to my heart. I felt that she handled my brand as if it were her own. Her designs speak for themselves if you look at her portfolio http://maemaepaperie.com/ so i feel like it would be silly to go on about how inspired and original her work is but it is absolutely stunning. Megan is so great because her service stands up to her designs. During my logo process it was a struggle for me to discern how i felt I wanted my business to be represented. Through my indecisiveness, Megan walked me through the process and guided me on ways I can better portray my vision which ended in a difficult decision on my part because I loved each piece she offered so much. For my wedding invites we chose a collection suite plus a custom address stamp which was so unbelievably painless. She handled the printing as well. Everything was delivered in a timely manner and she gave great recommendations for envelopes & packaging. And the design was pretty awesome on top of the ease. Her passion gets me so excited about the pieces I order, the way my goods came delivered... So adorable! makes you feel valued and you never feel that she's too busy for you... even though I'm sure she is :) I work in the event industry and MaeMae Paperie is my first stationary & paper goods recommendation. She's simply outstanding.

The quality of the invitations were amazing. We used a VERY hefty paper to convey the value of these invitations and the party. Since the party was on the Queen Mary, there was a 1940's cruise line theme. The RSVP cards were even cut to represent a cruise ticket. In addition to the actual invitations we also purchased the design elements so that we could use them for internal marketing. When my graphic designer and ad agency got their invitations they were both impressed at the quality that we received. Mae Mae is a must for any event that you want to convey a sense of importance.
