Popped into the store, not knowing what to expect. Wife and I were visiting Tucson for the gem show…read moreand family. We are gamers, so we thought it'd be fun to check out the local gaming stores. Polyhedron is a wonderful store! The staff are friendly and engaging and have a real passion for games. They stay open late and host a variety of regular game nights. The store has a wide selection of games from TTRPG to board to card. You'll find Pokemon, Magic, DnD, Shadowrun, Star Wars, and much more. And the accessories! They have their own branded products, which I found an excellent business model. On my next visit, I want to come over one evening and play a game with these fun people.

This was a $30 card at the time I bought it and now worth around $45. I had simply asked if they could rectify with another card of similar value to $30. Full story: I traded in my Gengar Vmax for a Rayquaza V with Eli. That card ended up being fake/ counterfeit. I tried to go back and see if they could fix it for me, they refused, the manager Chris acted like it's impossible because he's 15 years in the business. He said he "wanted" to fix the issue but said he was not going to give me a card of equal value and offered no solutions because he said he could tell I was frustrated. I think anyone who finds out they traded a real card for a fake one would be frustrated, after essentially being told they must be lying. I never cursed, and although I do have a loud voice in general, I never raised my voice at them. Since Chris looks at every Pokemon card himself before it gets put on the shelf (as he told me himself), and he never misses one, I'm left to think they must be intentionally selling off decent quality fakes trying to scam people who don't know any better. Can't speak for magic but I'd recommend not trusting any Pokemon cards from here. Don't be like me, always check cards with a flashlight even at game shops. In response to the stores remark: Since their trades have no receipts or documentation. They leave you with no way to verify on purpose so they don't have to accept any liability. Also, if I was the one trying to scam the shop, it would be for a lot more than $30. There are better card shops in town, I'll have to avoid this one I guess over a measly $30.

"This is the tabletop gaming store you are looking for."…read more After Pyrimid Games and Comics closed we were all left with a hole in our hearts and in our list of places to go play games and hang out with other gamers. Enter RSG - a gaming venue right on Fry Boulevard. The atmosphere events, and overall feel of the store are exactly what every town should have. They're open and welcoming to all ages, genders, orientations, whatever. If I was looking for something negative to critique them on and be nitpicky, the only thing I could find wrong is their somewhat small inventory. That being said, anything I've ever needed they've been able to get within a very short period of time. They have a great stock of store copies of games to play and always have a lot of events planned on their calendar.

The owner Glen…read moreand his business partner Josh are friendly and they will help you find information on practically anything. There will be times that I can get a small discount on one item or another. They are straight forward on things and mean no insult to anyone. The people that go there are great to interact with. If you want to learn a card game like magic or final fantasy or even a board game there are no shortage of people that can help teach you the game or learn with you how to play. You can bring your own game to play with others or use one of the store games. Usually the games that the store has that we can play they have in stock to buy there that day. Not only will you be garenteed to see people play magic but there are people there that play DND and there are a few different game systems that people can play for free.
