This store can get quite busy so its sometimes difficult to get round with a pram but there is a lift at the back of the shop to get to the childrens and mens departments. Staff are always very friendly and your purchases are always folded in tissue paper and sealed in a lovely bag. You are made to feel special shopping there, no doubt about that. This now seems to be because the manager is paranoid about the risk of shoplifting. However they must lose a lot of sales precisely because there is no changing room. They say that you can try at home and return goods if they don't fit but you have to return within a week, which is sometimes difficult if you are working or live out of town. This is not a policy in all St Luke's shops - indeed most, if not all of their other shops let you try things on before you buy. I mentioned this to the manager of the Saltash shop and she became quite verbally aggressive towards me. A very arrogant woman whose attitude must deter a lot of people from ever returning there again, which is a pity because this charity needs and deserves all the support it can get.

They have womens clothing, childrenswear, and homewares on the first floor and menswear on the second floor. They have escalators on entering as well as lifts in the Homeware section at the back of the store. It is very spacious, I never have any problems with getting around with a pram and everything is displayed really well. So many things catch your eye looking around. The homewares is my favourite part, they stock furniture, lightwear, dinnersets, pictures through to bedding and towels. The whole floor is divided up into sections so you can see clearly where you need to go. The staff are very friendly and helpful and will order items in for you or to be delivered to your home for a charge. Clothing especially can be quite expensive, but all items are very good quality and you do get what you pay for. Every christmas / new year they do hold a half price sale which is great for picking up bargains. The sale does get extremely busy though. Overall though on a normal day as the Next store is so spacious it rarely if ever feels packed and there are always plenty of tills to pay at making it a good shopping experience.
