I'm honestly not sure why they have a Yelp page. They shouldn't be on here. I feel bad for giving them 1 star, but their business needs to be at the BOTTOM of every search so people don't waste time calling them or driving there for no reason. This is an industrial business, they only deal large-scale with other companies. An individual can not just show up and get gas filled here. I called and had someone asking how they can direct my call. I said I needed a CO2 tank refilled. She started asking how I was going to pay and where I was. Very odd. She finally transferred me to customer service. They acted like I was crazy for even calling. Bottom line: If you run a business that needs a gas supplier, you already know who to call. You won't be shopping around on Yelp. read more

Odd business. I needed to refill two 5-pound CO2 cylinders and stopped in on my way to work, as I literally pass by this business every day on my commute. When I parked, before I even got to the office, I had to play 20 questions with some security guard about why I was there. When I entered the office and asked for a refill, the woman looked at me as if I had a third eye, saying that all gas was special ordered. Even CO2, the world's most commonly available and plentiful industrial gas. Maybe I'm not their target market. But if they can't fill 10 pounds of CO2, I question what they can actually do. read more

Let me preface this by saying that I did not do business with Matheson, but I did interact with one of the delivery drivers while on the road today. Please see below.... As soon as I merged onto 580 West in Dublin, I knew it would be a long ride home. I could not see all the lane markers or the solid white line marking the shoulder. I decided to find the closest big rig and follow them because I figured this person drives for a living and a big truck would have lights I could follow. Lucky me, this truck was marked flamable, which I knew met either he/she took their job very seriously, or we were both gonna die! I could not even see the markers on the road indicating what lanes existed where. I eventually got behind that truck. I followed this driver all the way until he/she got into the next lane over, which was nearly home for me. I literally could not see the reflector lane markers or lines the entire ride on 580. I don't know the plate number but it looked like the truck number was 8921 or 8291. Please let that driver know that they played a BIG RIG role (haha, pun intended!) and helped me get home safely. My doggies have their furever mommy and my boyfriend has his girlfriend safe. They may have been receiving or delivering flamable goods from point A to point B, but they also delivered a 29 year old woman back home. Please give the driver my sincere thanks. They're terrible. The sales guys lie out of the teeth all the time. Never believe anything they say. They will be overly nice and you'll feel they're going above and beyond , later only to find it's total bait and switch. Always read your final contract and fine prints . Even then, they will even violate their own contracts over and over. They will say anything to get business and once you're in , then you'll be charged for all sorts of things. Keep a watch on your billing and charges. They will even make up new rules if they feel you're complaining. And don't hesitate to escalate. But sometimes it feels like they're all in cahoots. For all the security and procedures they follow at their site , they are sketchy as hell when it's customers $$$. Maybe they do this to the smaller customers due to their don't care mentality and used to handling large volume customers. Unethical!! read more

To the other person that commented that they couldn't get their CO2 filled it sounds like from what you are describing with security, office, etc that you went to their separation plant. Matheson has been a supplier for us for quite a few years and 99% of the time they provide gas and welding supplies on time. It's easy to get ahold of a real person and prices are fair, not much else I can ask for. read more
