Not only that, but she has STRAIGHT A's for the first time since 1st grade! I am so thankful for the team at Grade Power - from their initial testing, they voiced concerns that we already had about our daughter possibly having some learning differences. We had her tested through her school in 2nd grade, and they told us she was ADHD and should be medicated. We disagreed, and didn't medicate, but she continued to struggle in school. Thanks to Grade Power reconfirming our concerns, we got outside testing completed and lo and behold, she is Dyslexic! She has been on a personal tutoring plan at Grade Power and now also has a 504 in place at school to get additional accommodations to help her learn with her learning differences. She even is enjoying reading - something I never thought would happen! AND Grade Power even will attend those meetings with you at school as an additional advocate for your child - AT NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE! If you have any doubts, feel free to contact me! My daughter needed help with Plano ISD STARR testing in Math. I spoke to 2 friends who suggested…read moreClub Z. I met with the Plano Area Director who matched my daughter up with a tutor. In only 4 one hour sessions my daughter learned testing taking tips and had reviewed Math STARR questions. She not only passed her test but received a commended score. We stayed with our tutor through the end of the year as my daughter loved the techniques that her tutor used to review and teach. She was able to make learning fun for her but most importantly built her confidence back up that she lost when she began to struggle in math.
