When you get the interior/exterior wash, make sure you check it before you take off. I just got an interior wash which includes "wiping of all door jams" and "interior windows cleaning", which they don't actually do. It's pretty much get it in, get it out kinda service and definitely not the best bang for your buck. I had to ask them to redo the door jams since they just halfway wiped them down and the windows look the same pretty much. Given the fact that they're really weren't that dirty, but kids love to put their hands on the windows so you can imagine. You might as well put it through the wash and clean the interior yourself. Manager came out and offered a free wash (did not ask or expect that) and was very professional. Just for that, I added one more star for this wash location. The guys who do the cleaning and wipe downs are somewhat lazy, pants halfway down and walk like they're going to Algebra class. read more

So in all honesty this was my second car wash today. I went to a place in West Eight Mile that did not do me right so on the way home I stopped here. I can't speak on the full serve here but it looked busy. Diving up to the automated service, there were a few people working, which was a good sight to see. Prices are on the higher end, probably because it's new and shiny but I don't think they'll drop anytime soon. Take note: my Yelp discount code did not work at the party terminal. One of the workers said I might have to redeem it inside which seems like a huge hassle. Also there's no way really out except backwards so I moved on. It's mostly automated here and I didn't think it cleaned my car much. Chamois brushes hardly touched the car and I had a lot of streaks when I exited. The vacuums are free with purchase here and worked well. I had the one with the broken nozzle that kept falling off. I assume the detailing might be the better option here but in a quick pinch I might revisit. read more

Convenient and quick. Good wash, but leaves soap on my driver and passenger windows, up by the side mirrors. A quick blast of water to clear this would be great. Would have given 5Stars if they the vacuums with the compressed air attachment (not for tires, for detailing) Excellent service, everyone is nice and knowledgeable. read more

Worst Car Wash in the area. Bad customer service. You press help on the machine and no one comes out. I will sure be going back to Jax wait is so much better. Seems like Matick has a lot to work on to make this a good car wash. Super disappointed. Avoid at all costs. Yes! I am pleased. I took my car to get the interior cleaned. I just picked it up and was shocked at how it looked like new. I took pictures and sent them to my family. Lol. My car was a mess for sure. Now I WANT to drive somebody somewhere just to show my car off. Thomas was the young man who cleaned it. He was very detailed and I could see he cared what I thought about his work. That is rare. If you go to Matick I recommend you ask for Thomas. read more

The interior express detail is nice when it's available. This is now the third time I've driven 30 minutes to get my car cleaned to be told "I'm sorry our retailers did not decide to show up today" and yesterday's excuse was "I'm sorry our retailers are not in yet" take the option to get your car detailed off if you don't have it available regularly. I came in for a $30 Express wash and the technician did a very poor job of cleaning the insides of my car. Dashboards was dirty and dusty when it was returned to me along with my inside doors. I would not recommend I had to go behind the technician and dust my car. read more

What a rip-off..really an outright fraud...so when you pull in, there are signs everywhere saying free vacuum services with car wash. After paying $11.00 dollars for an auto wash, the vacuum area is roped off..no cars can enter...Is there anyone to talk to about this? No. Why aren't customers informed upfront that the vacuum services are not offered, broken, etc. I actually had to log onto yelp after returning home to write this review to find out that vacuum services aren't offered due to COVID. Why couldn't the dealer be upfront about this?? Otherwise, who would pay $11.00 for a basic car wash that I can get elsewhere for 1/2 to a third of the price?? I assume the reason people go to Matick is because you can also vacuum your car out..I won't be returning that's for 1,000% sure. And the same holds for the dealership next door..If they will rip me off on a car wash...God only knows how they will treat me if I try to buy a new or used car... Everyone says..support your local businesses..the minute you do..they're ripping you off. (**Update in response to Ryan's message**). Ryan, the response you wrote just isn't logical. A large majority of businesses (much smaller than yours) affected by COVID just utilize signs written in marker and normal paper... placed in a plastic sleeve to protect from weather. Matick is waiting on a Sign Company to update signage? No one at your business can source a piece of paper or a marker to hang a sign to inform customers that vacuums aren't available? Off the top of my head, possibly zip-tie the makeshift sign in the vicinity of the machine where the credit card is inserted to pay for services NOT received. Maybe like "Warning..the $$ you are about to spend only relates to a car wash and no additional services." MEANWHILE, I'm sure by tomorrow Matick will reduce prices..at least while we are waiting for the Sign Company..so people will be charged for the actual CARWASH and not additional services promised and not delivered. Afterall, to change the price is probably just a matter of a few key strokes right? Or, is the person or department in charge of that also unavailable?? I'm not interested in wasting more time to hunt down a "Manager" for a free wash because as I said before.. I'm never returning. I just hope that in the interest of your other customers you will do the aforementioned...Future customers may not know how to contact the "Manager" later for a free wash. read more

DO NOT GO HERE!!! After going through car wash, I noticed 4 scratches on the hood. I had not gone anywhere else from car wash. I returned to car wash. The manager was not there so the attendant took a picture of the scratches & said manager would call me. Never heard from the manager. Even if Matick wasn't going to try and fix scratches, as customer good will or try to rub them out, it's professional courtesy to return the call. Based on reviews whoever owns Matick Chevrolet, a management change should be considered!! Very disappointing. The car washes are pretty expensive which makes my experience even worse!! read more

A+ I just vacuumed my car after getting it washed at George Maticks new car wash at Telegraph/96. OhMyGosh! Awesome! The drive thru wash would have blown my kids minds just a few years back...but I have to admit to watching through the moon roof myself.....I'm bringing my puppy next time! But really what prompted me to write this long winded dialogue about nothing was the free vacuums!!! Oh Boy! I have a crush on George's Maticks vacuums! I've always had a funny thing about vacuums. I once bought the backpack vacuum from the guy who put in my wood floors. Right off his back. Also--my last boyfriend was a hoarder of sorts-- his kingdom of "stuff" included a impressive collection of both working and nonworking vacuum cleaners ...there's more,but I'll spare you--just say it's been a theme of sorts in my life! ‍ Seriously, all those old feelings came right back to the surface when I picked up these vacuums. They were cleaning things that I had not intended to part with faster than I could control the beast. I was impressed ...and those who know me know that's not such an easy thing. read more

I really like this car wash. It cleans your car quite well without damaging it. I purchased the 39 dollar monthly plain, unlimited washes and chamois drying. And free powerful vacuums. Best drive thru car around detroit. read more
