I am continually amazed at the women at this little shop. I have had alterations done here for years. I actually save up my new trousers to at least have three pairs at a time and run them into the ladies here. The ladies work in the shop doing the repairs and alterations, there isn't room to have more than one person past the counter. It is like a mini factory. There is no guessing as you try on the trousers and the ladies pin them up and then a few days later the trousers are ready to pick up. The price is reasonable...especially if one can't sew and if you are a short stuff like me..everything has to be taken up. The ladies do alterations to all kinds of clothing. I noticed that one customer brought in a formal satin dress to the shop today and there was a lot of discussion about the alterations. Everyone leaves with a smile. Parking can be an issue. There is a large, multi storey carpark alongside the building. Sometimes I have been very lucky to gain a parking spot just outside the building without going to the carpark. The street parking is very limited in space and time, however knowing the ladies will serve you within 2 minutes and fix up the problem within 15minutes I am always willing to park on the street. read more
