Overall, I'd say that the food here is excellent. I ate there twice. The first time I had the basic cheeseburger and onion rings because the cheeseburger was the cheapest thing on the menu and I wanted to minimize my out-of-pocket cost. Very decent burger, coming from an American with well-developed burger pallet. The patty was a bit flat for my liking but overall it was stacked with flavor. The highlight of the meal for me though was the onion rings. So. Damn. Good. Beer battered just right. So good in fact, I came back later that week for more. The second time I ordered a Gold Burger, which they tell me won a national burger competition in Sweden. This was also good, but the flavors were not anything I'd crave. Again, good and interesting, but I could take it or leave it. Great onion rings again. I ordered at the bar and had the food come out to me. I didn't eat at the restaurant proper, although I don't think there was much of a difference. I think Phil's is a worthy spot to go for a quick bite alone or with a few pals. There's ample dining space. The only thing I'd say though is this place is probably more expensive than necessary. I do not think I'd be happy with paying for dinner here without my SEK 100 discount voucher. For Americans, that's about a $10 discount.
