I just spent an afternoon with Captain Rick on his beautiful boat, Fair Winds! The marina was…read moresuper convenient and we loved seeing a crane and a flock of brown pelicans. The little shop sells Dipndots, which was a huge hit with out kids. The more adventurous kids loved the seats on the back of the boat. The views of Sanibel lighthouse were post ard worthy. This was a great way to spend an afternoon on spring break.

This year was our second year of using Jump on Charters for a trip with friends to Outer Islands…read more Though we all own boats up north, we opted to use a charter company for cruising/bar hopping for obvious reasons. We have rented boats down here before, but the day is not nearly as enjoyable when you are trying to navigate, learn the waterways, and follow safety roles. Captain Benny is absolutely amazing. His boat is set up wonderfully for cruising, even though it is primarily used for fishing. Captain Benny knows the waterways and was able to navigate the wind allowing us to hit everywhere we wanted to hit (even though the wind was a factor that day). Cruising with Captain Benny (or his other captains) is a fabulous experience. They know where the dolphins are, where the fish are, and are extremely entertaining/helpful for learning Florida's waterways. I cannot recommend Captain Benny and Jump on Charters more highly. This family run, veteran owned business is such an asset to our community! Do yourself a favor and if you have family members coming in from out of town, book a charter with them. Personalized service, fun captains, and a very safe day of boating. Trust me, you won't regret it!

Mike takes the time necessary to make sure you are fishing in the right spot. We we able to catch Spanish Mackerel, Jackfish, Barracudas and two different species of sharks. Mike will make sure you know what you are doing, teach you when you need help, and cheer you on when you have success.
